Frequently I have questions or want to talk about something that doesn't really warrant its own thread.
For example, once I finish Metroid Prime 3, the last game I got w/ my Wii that I've yet to play is Zelda. I've never played any Zelda games before. Would you guys recommend I play Ocarina on VC first? Or any other Zelda games?
It took me like 30 years to finally trust quicksaving in video games.
And I still don't trust autosaves.
All I play lately are roguelikes so it's pretty much a moot point for me
Anyone played Vampire Survivors recently?
Saw a clip from Asmongold and it looked like there were tons of new characters.
I saw the newest guns expansion release or whatever.
I was kind of shocked how much DLC and extra stuff they've put out since the launch of the base game back in, what, mid 2022? Was an easy game to jam 50 hours into, so mindless and simple. Haven't played it since the base game though. Crazy good value.
Retroid put out two solid units in the last 6 months. Retroid Pocket 5 and a new Flip 2. Both OLED screens and can play up to some Switch games.
Pocket 5 is arguably better, but I dig the flip. There’s something about a clamshell design.

It's a fun game but does start to get a little repetitive. That being said, it's still worth getting and playing.

Hot Take - Majora's Mask is really fun! I'm giving it a 20th playthrough (farthest i have gotten is the snow temple) and having a pretty great time.

Please beat it this time. First time I 100% it, I did have to use help to get the couple's mask :(
I beat Snowhead Tonight!! And yes, I figure I've picked up the game at least 10 times, so I rounded up to 20. The first time I played it when I was 12 I didn't make it out of Clock Town.
Snowhead Temple was really ****ing good.
I'm due for a replay of it, but I'm also due for a lot of replays. Damn being old. At least I have zero desire to buy new games, my collection and replaying stuff is more than enough.
