Mostly tuned out on wrestling now a days but looked into today and wanted to know when aew turned into hogan era tna having all the old timers all over the show? 56 year old dustin rhodes is winning titles, 50/48 year old shelton/bobby lashey were already champs and retained, 51 year old christian had a match, and im not even counting joe whos also like 46 or something. back when i was more into wrestling aew was the youth movement promotion

i barely even watch wwe anymore (goldberg is having a title match i found out???) mostly due to part timers/old timers so oof

That was close. I'd hate to dent my Tucson.

Happy Hangman won, but sad that Omega lost.

Honestly, overall the show did not meet my expectations. Was hoping this would instantly be in the top 5 PPVs for the company, but it ultimately fell short for me.

Texas Death Match and women’s main event were both spectacular. Bucks vs Swerve/Ospreay was great, as was the Women’s Casino Gauntlet. But beyond that, everything else was just kinda there.

Opening with the Opps trios match was baffling, injury angle ending was weird. Men’s Gauntlet went on way too long with too few surprises. TNT title match was such downer after Adam Cole’s speech, and the feel-good Dustin Rhodes win couldn’t buoy the mood. Tag team title match was just a vehicle for Christian/Edge story which I am not interested in seeing (but MJF antics were enjoyable). Omega/Okada, my most anticipated match, seemed like it ended suddenly just after hitting second gear.

Production felt like a challenge for the crew. The large event space hampered the unity of camera transitions and I felt a lot more quick camera cutting than is usual for AEW. The overall pacing of the show was rather plodding and the runtime was simply too long. The back half of the show was much stronger than the first.

My complaints only come as a result of the company’s insane track record with PPVs. Much like the Okada/Omega match, we’ve come to expect such a level of quality that it’s surprising when the result isn’t S-tier. It was still an enjoyable event with a wonderful ending to the main storyline. But, the show as a whole did unfortunately fail to meet the (admittedly lofty) level I was expecting.

Has anyone outside of one of the Four Horsewomen come out of a feud with Charlotte Flair looking better? Toni's burial by Charlotte didn't help

Charlotte made Rhea in a great match two Wrestlemanias ago and she made Tiffany Stratton at this year's.

Admittedly, Tiffy didn't look great immediately following the match, but after they covered her bruising and fixed her chipped tooth she was a legit champ.

Hang it in the Louvre.

She is just the absolute best

Really fantastic PPV. Better than All In, in my opinion.

Great matches, spectacular cage match. Bozilla the breakout star of the night.

For whatever reason, All Out is usually the one show I always think I’ll skip. But then, I catch up with what’s going on and decide to go for it, and always ends up being a fantastic card.

Great flow throughout the show, Danielson is a delight on commentary. Some brutal matches with the TnT, coffin match, and the main event. An absolute SURPRISE win for KRIS mf STATLANDER, genuinely the most I’ve been shocked by a match result in several years. Great night all around, PPVs continue to have an immaculate record.

I'm calling on Congress to step in. You're only allowed to hold as many championships as you can physically carry to the ring. All others must be forfeited. I think they're inventing fictitious titles for Mercedes to win now.

And why didn't they do more of story with Hook and the Ops. Will he join them or fight them?

When are they going to change the name to ACW? (All Callis Wrestling)

I don't like all the blood and hardcore stuff I see in aew.

Seems a little much.

I fully acknowledge that I’m a sicko, but I love it. Really feels like anything can happen. The women’s Blood and Guts match was spectacular.

It's every clip I see! Screw drivers in the ear, women all bloody, people getting put underwater..I only seem to come across the hardcore stuff on twitter.

Do they have normal wrestling too?

If you’re only seeing AEW through viral clips, then I could see how one would think it’s all blood all the time.

The majority of the matches are normal wrestling, yes.

OK but it's close!

The problem is Logan Paul is booked better.

I will say, this is hilarious:

Not the first time Logan has feuded with a dead man.

Logan Paul is really good in the ring. People would slurp him up if he wasn't a garbage human.

If Statlander pins Mercedes I will never troll this thread again.
