General Thread for Hustler Casino Live Stream

General Thread for Hustler Casino Live Stream

I figured we should just have a general thread for this stream rather than a week/lineup specific one.

I’m annoyed they’ve advertised Garrett playing two days in a row, only to change the lineup. Anyone know what’s going on? Is Garrett ok?

Guess I’ll watch the Bike stream today because of Berkey, despite the inferior production quality.

yeah I just skipped to the end to see the results and Jimmy was 41/2

still had the 2nd highest profit at over $100k tho

that's because the deck hit him in the face and he won 2 massive coolers

This whole narrative on Reddit/twitter/comment section about how Keating is sooooo meta/smart… He shows up and loses on purpose to get into better games gets old.

its somewhat accurate (the stuff like he did with ninja is exactly that) but with the caveat he's also a degenerate gambler at heart

It just gets old, it’s a bullet proof vest…
It’s either “Holy **** this guys actually good, he’s got everyone fooled. He’s a crusher, bro” or it’s “Sure he plays bad but it’s on purpose”

its definitely more in the middle. He's definitely not a crusher but he's mathematically sound so he has a gto base somewhere in there. Add in his good to above average talking skills and id say he's an above average player that often plays down to the table. Like a version of early Benyamine but not actually caring about the money

I think he plays below the table

He's a whale and the game is literally built around him and has been for a while. Playing nonstop means you improve at poker, and he's not a fool he just has too much money to be forced into playing well when he feels like gambling.

ive never got the whole i have money let me go donate to people at the poker table mindset

It's not his intent, it's just a by-product of not studying/working/focusing as hard as other people in the game. Poker is a lot of fun, but we want to spin the wheel with lots of hands and in lots of situations. It's fun to see what happens, or make a wacky call. I think we all remember playing in little games with our friends and making hero calls or running huge bluffs and laughing and talking trash. Poker is one of the few games where the winners/losers don't bisect along the 50% line though; if you aren't at the absolute top, you're at the bottom. If you aren't playing your best game all the time, you lose. This is why Keating gets credit for knowing how to play. He could play well if he wanted to (he's pretty intelligent), but his financial status means he doesn't have to, and the fun of gambling and the popularity/nice treatment/reputation as an entertainer is worth more to most people than a negligible chunk of their net worth.

People indicated in another thread that he was a secret crusher in the wealthy games. It's entirely possible, because his poker acumen and reputation as a whale would allow him to win for quite some time against lower-tier comp before they finally got sick of him. If he's picking up in bigger games than HCL, it makes it even harder for him to take it seriously. It's honestly a solid exercise in tilt control to play well in the big game and then go have your fun in a game that's minor stakes for you.

Dwan said he's been a pro for 15+ years.

Seems to be a similar case to JRB, maybe not the best player but creating great lineups for private games.

What a bag-fumble by DGAF. Literally dug himself out of the hole and was crushing life/printing.

True. But, he’s now got a stream with no commentary or hole cards, that’s seen by hundreds. So…

They just keep airing these recorded games with Dwan, Peter and the 2 Asian girls that seemingly have some relationship with Peter. And they just short-stack jam... You have Dwan and it's boring as ****

Probably can't afford hole card cameras

By all appearances, it seems to be an agreement he signed with Hustlers as direct competitors...

Makes sense, just makes it awful hard to do a poker show.
Like, honestly why try?

Feels like the time/effort would be better suited to go into anything else. At the end of the day, poker without hole cards/commentary doesn't work

It's kind of not fun watching Keating play with "play money", is it?
I guess obviously people watch it, but its just him putting in 30K with T6 against top of ranges, calling 15K all ins with 86 on KJ465

Feldman just a casual -313K Friday
Even against these lineups, IDK who would stake him. And I honestly don't get how he became "I can piss away half a milly if need be" rich in like 6 year or so from "poker"

I'm fairly sure he was like a 5/5 prop at the Bike while he was there with LATB, then get rake from home games and apps? MBN

Must be nice, Vertucci can just sexually harass Hustler employees and get them fired because he's the king of his little fiefdom of a stream. The man is such a disgusting pig of a human being.

Nick has zero morals man.

He gets to set a soft cash game lineup for a stream, where the others are incentivized to play loose and entertaining. Meanwhile he inserts himself into those games without feeling that pressure. Seems like a bit of an unfair playing field there.

And ofcourse a guy like this is going to use his platform as a means of leverage for interacting with women in inappropriate ways. The guy is a POS.

I don't know all the details about his time as a real estate seminar scammer, but that doesn't look too good from what I've seen either.

At this point the guy is just a POS and is no one that people should be dealing with and doing business with.

That should be very apparent when he started his "career" getting seniors to buy his real estate course lol

Not just him anyone who deals with him is a pos. Everyone knows what he is.

by WPNdonk k

I always assumed someone staked him in the bigger games.

Was he a winning player in those 5/5 and 5/10 games?

I cant speak from others experiences but against me or anytime He was playing on my table won 0 times at the Bikes Casino Cash and Tournaments both .
