New Podcast - Cards Speak

Hey, I've started a new podcast called Cards Speak, where I'm going to be interviewing well-known poker players in depth on a variety of topics. Something different than the news, strategy, or live streaming that makes up so much poker content.

My pipe dream is that it can be something like a WTF? for poker, which is fitting, because I'm about as washed up at poker as Marc Maron was at standup when he started WTF?.

(I kid. I like Maron.)

But anyway, there are a lot of interesting people in poker and they don't get as much attention as the TV-personality stars of the boom era. But a lot of the top players are very intelligent and have a wide range of interests and are good conversationalists, and I'm hoping the show can be a chance to showcase a side of them that they don't often get to otherwise.

The first episode is available to the public today, with Sam Greenwood as the guest. It's a pretty long and wide-ranging conversation, but it was fun to make and hopefully as fun to listen to.

Long term, I'm hoping to have enough guests and material that some of it can be exclusive content for Patreon subscribers. (If I have episodes down the line that are this long, probably part of them will be for subscribers only. But I wanted to publish this one in full and encourage people to listen and hopefully sign up.)
