My name is Lex Ligtenberg MSc. Sports and performance psychologist and I’m a mindset coach for poker players.
It is my passion to help poker players build mental toughness so they can perform at their edge.
During my masters in Sports and Performance Psychology in Amsterdam I figured out winning poker players are like elite athletes if they take their career seriously.
Because winning poker players do not only study their poker game, but need to train their mental game as well if they want to deal with the stress, bad runs and emotional rollercoasters that come free of charge when you sign up for this career.
I offer 1-on-1 mindset coaching so that you, as an ambitious poker player, can get the maximum out of your poker career.
BUILDING CONFIDENCE & GOAL SETTING
Just like learning your ranges in different scenarios, mental skills like goal setting, visualization, self talk, discipline and focus can be learned through hard work and practice.
One of the main struggles professional poker players deal with is keeping confidence when results are not coming in.
Through our 1-on-1 mindset coaching sessions I’ll teach you how to keep your self worth, handle fear and build your confidence independent of results.
We will build a road map towards your poker dream with day to day task focused goals so your ambition is translated into actions!
Pricing starts at $98 or €91,50 per hour

Yes, it is amazing. Beware of poker cons trying to sell you newest exploit or mda magic pill. Poker is solved. Equilibrium is highest ev strategy. Good theory and gto is all you need to crush modern games
Kind of funny that you say don't buy exploits when you also said that Uris exploit course is the best. You must be mates with Carrot.
Fish X/R OTR:
The fish have a fairly strong range on the river but bluff a little more against a 1/3 bet.
Overfolding is fine in this spot.
First hand - I think we can bet 1/2 pot on the river. Get value from KT, QT, AJ, and fold against a raise.
Second hand - not sure about flop and turn, but call looks fine on the river. We beat some value (55, 44) and MP can overplay his 3oK vs this small bet.
2nd hand - it was a bomb pot so the pot is already big. I usually just bet them really small a lot and it seems to take it down/get value. Not really sure what to do with JJ as he bet's flop really tiny, and when king paired, my plan was to bet/fold until the jack hit river which pretty much coolered me. I kinda wanted to control the pot size, and wanted some protection against Ax Qx hands that just sneak into there sometimes.
as for the 1/3 size i want to get called by weak Ax which he might throw away - and Tx which will call most bets - but I risk getting check/raised. This guy probably had JT or AT but it's possible he just over valued Tx as i've seen fish do crazy stuff. We will never know because I folded.
Justin Gatland will get the same times as he did in the regular races
3bet to induce and then tilt when utg+1 flats and and donk jams the 9 high flop. ;(
Am I missing something or shouldn't there be an alert when your turn starts?
Beep when the action is on you.
I get the beeping when you are running out of time but by then it is usually too late.
let me know when it's on me!
And can't they program in more options?

What the flying **** is ES2 talking about? Is he trying to say mets is arguing the hospital was fair game because the civilians there supported Hamas?
That's not the argument. The argument is there was no way to reach Hamas without attacking the hospital because Hamas made sure to hide behind civilians and sensitive targets.
The comparison to 9/11 is just grotesque. There are too many obvious differences that I can only assume you're being willfully ignorant when you try to draw such an asinine an
The US has killed millions of civilians in the middle east, latin America, Vietnam etc.
The people ultimately responsible are at least arguably politicians in congress, the military and Wall Street.
If you can target hospitals to get to hamas, why would it be wrong for someone to target the pentagon?
You guys are the ones arguing for blowing up hospitals because supposedly some bad people are in them so kill em all. There are equally bad people in all the 9/11 targets.

I agree w all this. Calling $50 seems like worst of three options.
I think he showed it down to set up a bluff later. He canÂ’t check that through right?
I dont know. I wouldnt expect him to check it through but betting pot seems bad to me. I guess he figured pocket pairs would just jam. If im villain there im just gonna go 50-80 w top set and milk the fish to call w overcards. Other than me theres no money behind and when i call UTG +1 I shouldnt have any 4s in my hand for the open ender and theres no flush draw.
Villain did beat me in a hand a little later, its possible he bluffed but i dont think so. But its true that the previous hand i wrote up influenced my decision.
It was a non straddled hand.
He opened utg +1 to 10 and i 3bet to 35 w JJ sitting next to him.
Flop K 3 K w 2 diamonds and I dont have a diamond. He checks, I bet 30, he calls.
Turn brought in 8d completing flush. Check, check.
River 10. He bets 100, basically pot on river. Im losing to a K, 88, TT, and flushes. And he has all the flushes because i have good reason to believe his range is any suited connector even stuff like 74, 85, and 96. I dont know what bluffs he has unless he is just floating super wide on the flop with overcards or turning some pocket pair into a bluff which seems unlikely because I saw him check down showdown value and lose in other hands rather than bluff. So i folded and asked him what he had later and he told me he had a baby flush. Seems reasonable.
People actually watch half time shows?
same guy both hands - he didn't win much with his set vs my TPTK
Hand 1 i can't imagine beating much.
Reading couple bits back of this is still gold.

It's also quite possible that some very small leaks that barely affect your winrate can make your red line be a lot worse.
Think about thin value bets IP on the river. Maybe you've calculated that this bet is very very marginally +EV, like 0.1bb of EV betting vs checking. If you always bet here, the times your opponents would have a fold, which is presumably a lot in this scenario, those winnings now go into your redline. If you always check back when your opponent has air, those winnings go into blue line. We've shifted a lot of our winnings from blue to red line by taking an aggressive but very marginally profitable path.
The short answer, which has already been said, is that green is all that matters. Work on your game and focus on making good decisions, but know that very small marginal decisions like what I put above can have a significant redline shift while not really affecting green line at all.
Calling vs folding bluff catchers also has the same effect. We know that bluff catchers on the river are 0EV in solver land. If a hand is mixed 90% call and 10% fold, in theory against a balanced opponent it doesn't matter what action we take. Our long term EV is the same. But if we always call, our red line will be a lot better, but our blue goes way down. If we always fold, our red line will tank but our blue doesn't move. Our decision has absolutely no impact on our long run profitability, the green line is the same, just which side of a very close decision or indifferent decision we take will determine which line takes the hit and which one doesn't.
Just call.
Given our reads that villain plays 50% and never folds to a 3b, x/f flop is not good imo. I think betting is better - keeps our range uncapped and defines his range depending on what he does. If he raises so be it, but I don't think he'll raise that often esp given stack sizes. As played OTT - he should have KJ a lot here imo, as he's only betting KJ or hearts, and might even slow down with naked hearts as this turn nails your range. Honestly I might x/f turn here unless you have info that he barrels like a maniac - continuing here you're basically hoping he has like 87hh and is betting aggressively.
You might want to ask this in the Casino & Cardroom Poker section.
So it turns out one of Twin Galaxies' lawyers caused some issues, so TG settled with Mitchell.
TG created a separate historical archive of scores, and threw Mitchell on that. Mitchell naturally is claiming he won, and got back on the leaderboards, which he didn't.
But the Mitchell/Jobst lawsuit is still ongoing, apparently.
The EV is the exact same on all options - because pretty much it's gonna not mater much what you do, i guess in the off chance the guy mis clicks and calls your over bet or puts you on nothing for what ever reason. I still think what ever option you do he probably just folds unless he has equity and you bet small enough.
that being said, I can't think jamming all in on the turn is the best play. Not sure why you are arguing it - it's not a very interesting hand.
Ya he could have weaker flush draw or Q9 but it's more likely he has 99, AQ, A9
I can't see him raising a naked Ace
3b pre would of been good.
I guess I could just fold flop - but Pair + nut flush draw + back door straight draw is about as good as it gets.
On winning poker network - these guys on heaters just continually seem to always have it. Very often you will see someone with a 400+ BB stack just continually getting smashed with the deck on this site. I've been on one of those heaters and it's quite often a 100 hand 6 buy in upswing. That could play into just folding as well as crazy at it sounds.
ok thx everyone
