NCAA Football 2023 Season Megathread
Figured I would get this thing started since a mod still hasn’t changed the title of the 2022 thread. Let’s just start o
Michigan isn't a top 50 rushing team. Weird.
Modified empty and they don't have a true LB covering the RB. Why would you run a swing? Not a great series there from the OC.
Isn't a top 50 passing team. Rank # 70.
perhaps put some touch on the football JJ?
The rubric is resume. They are not one of the four best teams among the several with legitimate claims to compete in the CFP. Four best does not and has never meant sort_by_Vegas. The tiebreakers for "comparable" teams are conference championships won, strength of schedule, H2H, and outcomes against common opponents. They win none of those against the teams that were selected.
The bowl season with the incomplete teams is helping or hurting the hindsight. Now we know UGA has a win over Mizzou who beat a team almost as good as Michigan in the Cotton Bowl. Of course none of the them are the team that was playing in the regular season.
Just true Quarters from Bama. Free man can go if RB sticks. Very well done series from Bama DC. Great adjustments, albeit obvious.
Oh look we have a swing player and we get a positive run play.
Oh look another swing player and another positive run play to the weak side as Michigan is overloaded AGAIN.
Milroe's legs starting to get to work
Michigan does not have a good response to the 12/21 personnel here.
Saban whining about "stop ourselves"
JJ gives off big Joffrey vibes.
Kirk has a spotter who is a better lip reader than I am.
Michigan can't afford to lose this thing ugly. This is their dream playoff game. I can't afford it either now. 😀
Michigan playing great but don't have the heart of Bama. Got to be battle tested.
you see this a lot in these B1G v SEC matchups
the B1G teams can't match the quality depth of SEC teams and they start to fade as the game enters the 4th Q and beyond
No Berman "zip zip zip" at all there
No reason to throw
JJ pick 6 incoming. 31 13 finalish
