NCAA Football 2023 Season Megathread
Figured I would get this thing started since a mod still hasn’t changed the title of the 2022 thread. Let’s just start o
They score a slow td this game is over
The problem for UGA all along was a weak non-conference and no elite wins. It's highly nonlinear for elite teams in terms of expected losses, so even though they had several wins against top 25 teams, those don't hit the same as wins over top ~5 teams.
UGA had 2 top 10 wins. How many other teams can say that?
These snaps are detrimental. It's taking time away from Milroe everytime.
We're having success with the run. I know! Let's pass it every down.
special teams
I'm completely dumbfounded. Three straight plays with 3+WRs. Absolutely nothing on any of those plays. Embarrassing
Yep. Not equal to the occasion
I get it. They think they have a matchup advantage against that swing LB with that 3rd WR. But they have shown that their man coverage collapses so fast. You don't have those quick throws where you can beat that swing LB. Unless you want to double move or attack that deep middle safety, you shouldn't be throwing those routes now.
Then its 3rd and long and you can't truly sit in a base run formation, I also get it. But I felt like you have a better shot at 7+ yards in your run game than your pass game now.
This is college football, running the ball can be better than throwing. NFL, Throwing is almost always better. That just isn't true for college.
Think we see quarters?
Why do Bama's ball carriers look like they're crossing an icy road drunk?

Good post [emoji106]
Harbaugh is so lame on the trick plays. He just doesn't get it.
‘What do they have left in their bag of tricks here?’
Handoff
I saw some FSU posts earlier. FSU with their full defense definitely has them in this game. Michigan would have struggled mightily to attack FSU's defensive backfield. I don't think the Michigan OL has the success they had against Bama in the first half against the FSU front 7. Would FSU score? I don't know. But I also don't know if Michigan would have scored.
Does Harbaugh take the LA Chargers job before halftime of the 2nd playoff game?
Most obvious block in the back I have seen in my life
Also completely valueless
Corum looks extremely not explosive
Corum doesn't catch passes all year and Bama just ignoring it.
Absolutely brilliant 4th down call from the Michigan OC. You can't cover the flat route against all those slants.
lol fail coverage
First time I’ve ever seen a guy block in the back AND stop the runner from gaining
Wow no call lol
Holy ****
OMG
