I've hated lirvA's posting for years, especially the ridiculous combo posting , and prefer they don't post here. When they do I don't see their posts unless someone quotes them. I wish they'd been perma'd a long time ago and am glad they won't be allowed back on 2 + 2. But I don't hold any grudge against jmitch for having a different opinion.

Jmitch was one of the ones who went to vegas with the BBV4L posters in 2009 or 2010. There were maybe 10 of us. It was a fun time.

ab/auf are the power reserve. the 678 are part of the date dial that are kinda unofficial, you're just seeing the date dial through the face. it's organized like that so they're already exposed to light and glowing when the date changes
i love power reserve meters on manual-wound watches, but i HATE them on automatics. i've only seen a power reserve positioned to display through the sapphire caseback maybe once, and that's the best place for them.
the crown is what gets me the most... like why is it so oddly shaped?
