Don't agree. We might but it isn't going to be easy. We give up way too many chances (and did first ~10 games of season when all healthy too, opponents just kept sidefooting the ball wide).

Villa is spitting the proverbial bit..

I guess it depends what you define as "easily". It looks like it's 4 teams from 5 and the bookies have it 12-1 bar. Now Richy is scoring, I think we're as good an 11 as anyone in the league right now, albeit it's a bit of a weak season, so if we can get everyone healthy I think we'll get there.

I remember you lot just wanted some entertainment with the new manager. He has achieved that, I dont think there are games this season more entertaining as a neutral than Spurs.

Chelsea's curse factor is amusing, but just pure footballing entertainment it has to be Ange and co.

United otoh is hard to watch. Like physically painful

Word on the web is he likes the look of our shirt even more : o

Saudis reportedly too jealous of our shirt, won't let him go

I hope they chain him to a radiator for the remaining 1.5 years.

What are the British bookmakers odds on an Arse-Spurs ‘who finishes ahead of whom’ bet at the end of the season?

I figure Arse are slight favourites, maybe -125 or so?

If Arsenal are only -125 I would pile on them lol. In theory if not in practice.

The fact they're only a point ahead is LOL given performances, even if they don't have anyone who can score.

Unfortunately, in this land of milk and honey, where on-line betting is not illegal, just frowned upon, I do not see that wager available at any of my usual sportsbooks.

However, you CAN wager if Drumpf’s next bm will be the same color as the Gatorade to be dumped at the Super Bowl..

wont be close to -125. markt thinks arsenal are miles better than tot

Nottingham Forest and Everton have been referred to an independent commission over an alleged breach of the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability regulations (PSR).

Lol Ev

Meanwhile City's next hearing is in 2044

Market point spread has arsenal about ~9 points better than spurs

I did some rough napkin math as how id price a season match bet based on market odds: It would probably ballpark it around -250 to -300?

That's my read of where a book should have it. ****ing mortgage would go on Arsenal -125 if I were neutral.

Derby/Burton was a decent enough second half

I’ll take the Arse side with you for up to $1,000,000 cashy dollars. Qtb

This. What a joke the whole system is if they are too frightened of punishing big clubs.

Mou is a free agent again. Fyi Chelsea

Harry Arter - what a pro. Since the dark days of the 90s the English have clearly taken some lessons from our more astute European cousins like Winstone Bogarde.

I can't imagine how signing 30 players in a year lead to some financial shenanigans. The Greek fella always seemed so legit.

Reminds me of the amazing Sunderland doc where they were trying to get Rodwell to terminate his £80k p/w contract so he could experience the joys of findings first team football somewhere else.

I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. City have demonstrated that they are happy to empty the clip on lawyers so I'd rather the league take the time to make sure the case is as watertight as usual, even if there's a big delay. The alternative is rushing it and potentially losing the case.

You've got to tie down stars like Arter and Rodwell. Don't want to lose valuable assets like that for nothing.

Rodwell. What a legend.
