For this year you can't. It's full.

If you want to enter next year's pool, you'll have to wait until it opens and enter by escrowing the buy in amount to whoever runs the pool.

"UP" means Upper Peninsula (of Michigan). The part where it snows like hell ~5 months/year. People there known (somewhat) affectionately as Yoopers.

I thought the overdone accents in Fargo were more representative of the UP than northern Minnesota, if that's worth anyone's consideration.

As mentioned, this pool is filled and nunbers drawn already. I start it shortly after Valentine's Day to ensure enough time to fill it and collect escrow from everyone. Please check back next year if you wish.

If the play-in games counted EC Outlaw would have swept last night. Looking forward to this on Thursday. 1 more thing to sweat.

FIL is full-blooded UPer. A strange breed for sure.

Michigan State, a team familiar with March Madness, wins 69-51 in the first game of our squares pool, and gives ec_outlaw, who is familiar with squares pools, the first win of the pool!

Duquesne upsets BYU, 71-67. kevstreet won't be upset, however, as he hits and is now freerolling the pool with his single square!

Cozumel today

I'm doing a cruise next February. 7 days in the Western Caribbean. Cozumel is one of the stops. Enjoy!!

UNC over Wagner 90-62. UNC is the first 1 seed to play, and win; 0-2 is the first winning square of the many for REDeYeS00. This particular square is labeled "REDeYeS00-11 (rv)"

Illinois wins 85-69 over Morehead State. Coincidentally, I'm from Illinois, and 5-9 is my square! First winning square for me this year.

Woke up from my nap and thought I’d hit one, but no. Used to the other board that’s favs/underdogs rather than winners/losers.

I just find it easier to do winners vs losers. Sorry for the confusion!
