RobFarha,
Not sure what you are into, but will you be buying pieces of any of the posters here for this summer's WSOP?
SABR42 would probably be a great investment especially for WSOP tourneys that have a deep structure favoring cash game players
SABR if you want to be put into the Monster Stack this year you can just DM me again and ask, no need for these alt accounts.
Squid- how is SPCs ultramegabikeathon going?
I played poker for the first time in a few months (maybe 3?). Won, had an ok time and still don’t think I have any real desire to go back again soon. I’m getting old where playing makes my body feel like **** for 2 days after and just doesn’t feel worth it.
Maybe once the kids are more grown it’ll be easier.

Playing poker especially the sitting down for many hours can be brutal for the back.
Hey Miami - SPC's training is done. She is now completing her route prep and finalizing her bike/gear/strategy. She departs friday for seattle. The event starts sunday 7am pdt. I will poast up some links and stuff to follow.
In terms of yer back I would highly advise finding a program to get on for strengthening it up. It just gets weaker and more prone to spasm/pain/etc with every passing year. I was forced to quit deadlifting a few years back. I still squat but I have had to humble myself in a significant way due to back issues.
Aging is not easy. Combating the process takes a focused effort that can be horribly frustrating and demoralizing. Waiting for the kids to become more grown before taking action is a big time mistake imo.
Gl to her and def post the link.
I may have had a typo. My back is surprisingly ok these days. Ive lost a few pounds and been running, walking and rowing a decent amount.
I just feel overall weaker / extremely tired and mentally cloudy after playing for a few days.

Made it to 1st break in the mystery millions. 32.4k (starting 40k)
2nd hand of the tourney I live misclicked and lost 4k chips I shouldn’t have. A guy bet 700 OTT, I grabbed a red 5k chip, thinking it was 500, and 2 black 100s to call, accidentally raised to 5200 and ultimately lost the hand.

I’m running a multi-street life bluff for the next ten days: My mother-in-law is staying with us for ten days…I lost my job on Friday and have decided to keep it a secret from everyone—including my wife—until the mother-in-law leaves.)
My motives are actually pure-ish: my wife is having knee replacement surgery tomorrow, and I did not want her stressing over my losing yet another job (when she’s already so stressed over the surgery).
I’m hoping to hit my inside straight draw (ie, get a new job before anyone learns I lost my current one).
My standards are SOOOOO LOW.
(In the meantime, until then, I’m gonna be like the protagonist of the late Laurent Cantet’s 2001 film Time Out: will dress in my business clothes each morning, take my kids to school, and then….stay out of the house until it’s time to pick them up.)
((Unlike him I will be playing poker during the day. The guy in that movie just chilled.)
Just to be clear...you're lying about losing your job to your wife and family. And as a response, are going to keep the lie up by dressing the part each morning, dropping the kids off, and...*checks notes* going to the casino to gamble. And somehow, this is all better than being honest with your wife?
Um... GL, I guess?
This seems fraught. What happened with job?
Just promise me you’ll fold J3o to a raise
This has the makings of a great sitcom. I am looking foreword to the season 1 pilot episode
Wanted to post the scene from Full Monty where wife throws husband out of the house when she realizes he's been doing this, but couldn't find a clip of it.
This seems like a bad idea but gl.

davo posting marriage decisions as bad as some of his hand histories
here u go davo, i pulled this one from 1 page back. seems to apply here as well. I hope you do the right thing and tell the misses. I personally believe your marriage counts on it.
Also: JOTS u got an update?!
I think the most likely outcome is I’ll just tell her when she gets back home from hospital, which is on Wednesday.
I truly believe she will understand why I chose not to tell her right before she went under the knife. I mean, my telling her wouldn’t help anything.
Or, and hear me out here, you could tell her and do whatever makes her life easier before her surgery. I'm sure she has a laundry list of things you could take off her plate before going under the knife.

I see no way this could possibly go wrong.

What’s your TikTok @? I’m tryna follow this story.
Hey Paddy, someone just asked me about my undertitle. Do you remember why you gave it to me? I win a Walrus game or something?
