[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Does anyone know how long it takes to complete the PayPal verification? I submitted the requested documents they needed on Saturday. I am waiting for verification to be completed to process my cashout. Longtime player from the previous site/software.
Software not lagging today fwiw. 8 tables on Windows 7
I tried to cash out yesterday. They said I needed to be verified. I have been verified for over 3 years! They don't answer emails and you have to wait on hold for around an hour to speak to a live human.
I'm at 8 days waiting on a withdrawal, and expecting a couple days more. BetMGM NV cashes out direct to debit card within 30 minutes for sports bets so the technology is definitely out there, someone is just dropping the ball. The money is absent so it's not like I can even just blow it at the tables either.
Do you guys not have your financials in order? I’m not sure why a withdrawal that may take a day or 10 days is really that big of a deal:…

Everyone posting has received an email that their money from a withdrawal has been returned to their account. But that money is nowhere to be seen or tracked for over a week. We are just trusting that they know what they doing with players' transfers of funds for over a week now. Their is no history in the cashier, or anywhere else. Just an initial email a week+ ago and the money disappearing from the account.

Sure - for a couple people…but not everyone that posted.

I think it's primarily the issue of WSOP will take your money immediately for deposits a plethora of different ways at the snap of your fingers, no questions asked, no complications in throwing down to play online, but make it a royal clusterF to do a withdrawal in terms of the process, or seemingly randomness and inconsistency. It's like dealing with a relative you loaned money to, they easily will accept your money but have every excuse as to why they can't pay you back yet. Lol.

This is every betting site in history.
note taking is almost impossible unless you sit out all tables.
i keep getting my sign in token 3-5 minutes late
Does the destination folder that WSOP client saves to when d/l have anything to do with crashing issues?
I'm at level 160

I mean good lord man, they deserve to get paid on time whether everyone is rich or not. Your dad should have taught you early on to stay out of other people’s finances.
I transfered my account over last week and none of my APPs or money was transferred over. Been waiting to hear from support for about a week. Anyone else have this happen? What/how was it resolved?

Exactly the only proof I have is the initial email from the old software and the random email out of the blue saying my bankroll has been returned to my (old?) account that nobody has access to.
I don't want to risk getting my account banned like John Mehaffey did for reporting them to GCB so I just have to bend over and take it until they pay

I also had nothing transfer. I heard they told someone else they expect the transfer to be done after a week (from day 1) so if my money doesn't appear by then I'll be going back to support. For now I deposited a bit and have been playing as normal. Well as normal as you can with 3 tables max, no note-taking, and a couple random crashes per session.
Can we get some responses of people who are suffering from crashes AND not suffering crashes when 7 or more tables are open; what are your PC specs?
There’s a lot of talk on X that it’s the software that’s the issue when 7 or more tables are open. But I believe, especially when opening up task manager and seeing the CPU/memory usage, it’s a hardware requirement issue.
go to the help desk if you can. they are super super helpful. I had like 3 problems I had to fix and you are able to scan documents and they immediately see it.
they are open til 6pm.. its by the bathrooms in the Paris poker room.
Pros and Cons to new wsop
Cons:
1. If I play 6 or more tables then the software crashes. This also can include lobby windows so be careful. (this needs to be fixed sooooooon)
2. You don't know how much time bank you have or if you even have any time bank left. This makes it very scary to let your clock run down and i only utilize the time bank when i have a hand that im gonna fold any way. Also unclicking "auto timebank" basically just means you have no time bank
3. On the app you can not see any tables or get on waitlists, you just have to click on what stake u want and a table opens
4. The rake back/bonus structure is impossible to figure out.
5. Note taking only has like 7 colors and no symbols (not a huge con)
6. The rebuy/reenter feature is glitchy in tournaments and there is no autorebuy.
7. No chat. This erks me because if you dont want to see someones chat you could just mute them. They took it away during covid and it just seemed like they hopped on the bandwagon of censoring speech without really much of a reason. They have now introduced symbols which is a step in the right direction but the symbols they gave us arent ideal for most relevant communications. Like a "brb", "g2g", "nh", "well played", "hu please"...these would be actually useful. or just give us the chat back and fooook off am i right?
8. They should add run twice in cash game...run twice is so good for the house i dont know why they dont offer it...
Pros:
1. The app is infinitely better than before. Has sort of a poker bros feel. You can play 4 tables AND play PLO, which is pretty fooking amazing for an organization as historically tech illiterate as WSOP. If you could just see the tables and get on waitlists it would be near 100.
2. Lots of improvements to the tournament lobby. You can now see how much time left on late reg without having to open tournaments.
3. Player pool feels nice, im not sure how much of it is because its that time of the year and how much is cuz of Michigan (this is the most important factor overall i suppose)
4. Being able to show cards is fun (especially blockers in PLO hehe)
5. Rabbit hunt is coo
What's the point of rabbit hunting if the rng is constantly moving. All of the cards that were yet to come on the board would be different if you call because the timing would have been different.
