I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he still plays private cash games, but he has stepped away from the spotlight to do the family thing for now.

the key to bearding for syndicates is not announcing the world you beard for syndicates - he would be absolutely stupid to tell that to HCL - i imagine it was pure speculation from the commentator because Ivey can't be that stupid

also, if it were digital bets, he wouldn't be making them himself, they'd just do it directly
