2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
That team is nice. If Woods is the Colts starting TE, you're in business.
I just drafted a $3 DK. Might have gone a little overboard on rookie WRs lol. It's hard to resist the prices compared to UD.
Stroud, Rodgers, Maye
Breece, Spears, Singletary, Gus, Lloyd, Estime
MHJ, Diggs, Tank, Ladd, Diontae, Polk, McMillan, Baker
Kincaid, Conklin, Mayer
Like this. You prolly don’t need Maye but you are good everywhere so it’s fine .
Definitely. Felt like a luxury pick. Could have gone 9 WRs instead, but liked adding Maye's upside having Rodgers as my 2.
On dk I really like getting 3qb when possible
I went 3qb on ud bc I realized there’s a chance Maye might not be starting in week 5 (hurts bye)
Qb - Hurts, Maye, Nix
Rb - Najee, Swift, Javonte, Corum, Vidal
Wr - AJB, Deebo, Diggs, Rome, Polk, Pop, Mims, Raymond
Te - Kittle, Goedert

I like this team . Curious on everyone’s thoughts on Rome . I like him as a player but I feel like the targets won’t be there . Same reason why I’m staying away from Tank Dell.
This is my first Olave share.
Qb: Jayden, Lawrence
Rb: Cmc, Rashaad. Zeke, Gibson , Davis, Ceh
Wr: Olave, Kupp, Kirk , Godwin , DHop , Thielen, Johnston , Hyatt , Elijah Moore
Te: Bowers, Jonnu, Fant
My feeling is he was the 9th pick in the draft and if he’s a stud and Caleb is good, then he’s gonna be a beast.
I had MHJ and Nabers as slightly better prospects in the draft, but getting a 5 rd discount (on UD, even more on dk) for situation is worth it to me
Also, Stroud can support 3 WRs and tank is a stud. You’re getting 1-2rds discount for situation there as well

I can’t bring myself to draft him . I’m usually going another position the round he goes anyways .
Got sniped on London. There's always next time
QB - Lamar, Watson
RB - Walker, Javonte, Singletary, Wright, Algeier, Mitchell
WR - Garrett, Nico, Flowers, Ridley, Addison, Jeudy, OBJ, Hyatt, Reynolds
TE - Njoku, Likely, Juwan
Got my first Love share
Qb - Love, Tlaw, Kirk
Rb - Achane, Conner, Singletary, Lloyd, Gibson, Bigsby
Wr - Chase, Nico, Kirk, Nuk, Watson, Mims, Rondale
Te - Pitts, Musgrave
We are on day 30 of our 24 team (2 copies of every player) slow draft. We are in round 15 so 1/2 way through.
Dynasty start up, ppr, Start: QB, super flex, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, 3 flex, 14 bench, 6 taxi (30 total)
Squad so far:
Lamar, young, mayfield, Carr
Bijan, eteinne, spears, Aaron jones
Chase, London, Davante Adams, Adonai Mitchell, Romeo doubs, Jerry jeudy, Roman Wilson
Ferguson, kmet
Traded away 1st & 2nd next year as well as 1st in 2026.
I’m leaning Sutton with my next pick (and then I have 2 picks next round) over:
Howell, Pickett, O’Connell, rattler
Roschon, Hubbard, Khalil Herbert, allgreier, Gus Edwards, Vidal, Bucky Irving, eatime, McLaughlin, Shipley, Zeke
Gabe Davis, Lockett, Quentin Johnston, baker, Corley, McMillan
Mayer, otton, ja’tavion sanders, Kraft
I guess my questions are with only 4 RB & 2 TE should I continue to draft WRs and if so is Sutton a bad fit for my team considering my WR depth, his age (28) and since I traded away future draft capital?
I'd pass on Sutton with your WR room. QB isn't necessary either.
I'd pick your favorite RB or TE.
My first fast Pit Bull.
Kyler, Levis, Bryce
Kyren, Brooks, Tyjae, Benson, Dowdle, Chuba
Puka, MHJ, Hollywood, Ridley, Legette, M. Wilson, Boyd
LaPorta, Henry
Got sniped on JJM. I don't mind Darnold though.
QB - Purdy, Watson, Darnold
RB - White, Javonte, Gus, Wright, Elijah, Dillon
WR - JJ, Waddle, Deebo, Cooper, Addison, Downs, Boyd, Rondale, DPJ
TE - Kittle, Hock
Not mine
Pitbull
Qb - Jayden, Geno, Maye
Rb - Bijan, Brob, Benson, Gus, Charb
Wr - Olave, DK, Flowers, Keenan, JSN, Pearsall, Baker, Tez Walker
Te - Kittle, Henry
Made a fun one earlier and did some reaching to stack 3 week 17 games
BUF-NYJ with Allen+Kincaid / Wilson
CHI-SEA with Caleb+DJ+Odunze / Walker+JSN
NE-LAC with Maye+Polk+Douglas / Dobbins+Chark
KC/PIT stack with Fields. Got sniped on Roman Wilson, but not too mad since Fields' upside is in his running anyways.
QB - Tua, Levis, Fields
RB - Pacheco, Swift, Javonte, Wright, Pierce, Shipley
WR - MHJ, Waddle, Flowers, Ridley, Rice, Gabe, OBJ, Gallup
TE - Njoku, Muth, Chig
Qb : Mahomes , Dimes, Nix
Rb: Breece , Connor , Brian Robinson jr , Zeke , Chubb , Estime
Wr : Adams , Tank, Godwin , Worthy , Palmer , Wandale, Bateman , Mims
Te: Kelce , Musgrave , Theo Johnson
QB - Goff, Trevor, Maye
RB - Kamara, Swift, Najee, Lloyd, Dobbins, Keaton, Guerendo
WR - ARSB, Aiyuk, Kirk, Hollywood, Gabe, Polk, Roman
TE - LaPorta, Henry, Juwan
My first BBM

RB) Breece, A Jones, B Rob, Gus Edwards, J Wright
WR) Waddle, Kupp, Cooper, Hopkins, AD Mitchel, D Robinson, Corley, Slayton, M Washington
TE) NJoku, Muth
When and why I think it can be okay to reach in the early rounds.
Take the start of this draft I recently did. I wouldn't want to reach at 2.10 because the turnaround to my next pick at 3.3 is only 5 picks away. However, I do think it can be okay to reach at 3.3 (which I did).
One of the reasons I think it's okay to reach there comes down to your takes on the players and how often you think they'll finish ahead of their ADP. Flowers isn't necessarily my favorite WR, but I do feel strongly that he has a better shot of beating his ADP than guys like Diggs and DJ. [Diggs due to age; both due to targets and opportunity distribution]
Another reason is it allows you to create unique builds. The Hill/Waddle build is going to be very common, but a lot of people with a WR-WR-WR start will be taking one of those WRs closer to their ADP. So if my take is right and Flowers is great, then that could give me an edge over everyone that played something like Hill/Waddle/DK
I think it's important to not reach too far ahead. Maybe 2-3 picks into the next round at the most. Otherwise you're probably giving up too much value.
Cliffs: Reaching is okay if you have a strong take on a player and/or it helps your stack.
