Talk about not less important than George Michael ...
RIP
Had fun shooting craps with Willie in Reno about 30 years ago. RIP.
Eh, I only like one song by George Michael, but he was more important to the overall culture of the world than was Willie Mays. People who enjoy music still listen to songs performed by people 50 years ago.
No one watches baseball games from 50 years ago.
What a shame.
I attended a charity dinner in the mid 90s. Willie Mays, along with Harmon Killebrew and Bobby Bonds were at my table. All wonderful company. But even if I hadn’t known who Willie Mays was, I would have had no doubt I was amongst greatness.
The ‘Say Hey Kid’
I believe Harmon Killebrew (all time great name) holds the distinction of having the lowest career batting average in the hall of fame.
RIP Willie Mays (all time great name)
Lost Donald Sutherland today. Made it to 88 yrs old.
RIP Oddball
RIP indeed...
Surprised at zero Oscar noms. I know he was a part of a lot of ensemble casts, but for instance seemingly everyone else from Ordinary People got nominated.
Final scene of Invasion of the Body Snatchers was an all-timer imo
RIP Kinky...
ashamed to say i have no recollection of who that might be
They ain't making Jews like Jesus anymore.

Lost a great comedic actor today. Martin Mull.

RIP Dr Ruth

Does clicking on embedded videos affect your YouTube algorithm?
Yeah. Not clicking on that.
RIP AP
RIP Richard Simmons. In the '80's I met his production staff, toured his studios and was able to get my Mom a spot on one of his shows.
