Obviously the Soviets played a huge role in defeating the Nazis and I don't doubt that the USA's direct role is often overstated in the US. Nitpicking and downplaying the impact Western aid played in helping the Soviets is a still a completely ridiculous hill to die on. Even taking the one scholar who agrees with you at face value it still saved millions if not 10s of millions of lives (i.e. the additional deaths if the war had been extended by 12-18 months).
