That would be another effect, but prolly not suited to lure you in, which is what they are trying to do. Usually they would first try the usual smily smily, touchy touchy, and when you tell them to go away, that is one of the first lines (😆) they would try to generate a different outcome. Like it was something superspecial. When in reality certain peeps would almost fist fight over certain peeps who want to buy some. Maybe, it must work often enough for them to do it, tourists or whatever. Anyway, just the usual pointless drunken rant. Prolly, mainly caused by one particular persistent specimen who would follow me all the way from da club to da taxi stop. But that was not a first either. Whatever, HK is a city that has a lot of peeps with a lot of money, and where you have a lot of money, you have a lot of hookers and blow, so there's that, it won't go away. HK nightlife is kind of a shadow of its former self anyways, it never fully recovered after Covid, at least not as of now, many clubs are closing. Just heard yesterday, somebody I knew fairly well did a runner, he co-owned a bar, among other things, he was a genius actually, architect, he could draw fantastic designs, sketches and paintings, but like apparently, he accumulated too much biz and maybe personal debt and just fled to India...
