2024 NFL Regular Season: g-bebe’s Lamar attempts to slay Dom’s Josh for title of mafia boss
You know, since the Super Bowl periodically i will watch the CBS Sinatra intro cuz it was ****ing magnificent. Halfway t
I can't remember the exact detail of the guarantees in Watson's Browns salary but guessing the Browns might put a few investigators onto the job of finding a new assault that can allow them out of his deal
(not trying to minimise the harm to the victims obvs)
those two TDs Richardson threw really were quite something. I'm not sure I can ever remember a stronger armed QB. It's gonna be feast or famine with him for a while at least, but you can see why he got drafted so high despite his accuracy issues
He’s definitely got Cam’s upside, maybe even higher. AR also seems to have a better head on his shoulder than Cam did.
Ehhh **** it, AP down there somewhere
in the infamous words of the talking heads
and she was
rodge is likelier to become the vice president of the united states than he is to be a good qb
i really like salah and think he hasn't gotten much of a fair shake, but if the jest lose next week you gotta fire him

lol no. IMO they're a playoff team. 9ers are just vg And him Douglas and ARog are a package deal. They'll all go at the end of the year if they don't make the playoffs
Aikman appears to have spent the offseason underneath an extremely toxic sunbed

nah
salah and rodge are already (supposedly) at odds
douglas is an unmitigated disaster who not only bet the farm on rodge but traded a 3rd for a guy who will never play for them
douglas absolutely will fire salah to save his own ass if **** is about to go sideways
Saleh still having a job is all the proof Brian Flores should need that the league isn't racist.
power rankings
1. kickers: 68/74 (92%) on field goals
if my math is correct (probably not)
It’s a make or miss league.
Jake PMS being a kicking god was not a development i was ready for
booker knew
rodge is likelier to become the vice president of the united states than he is to be a good qb
Godgers looked good tonight vs a very good SF Def throwing to Wilson and a bunch of bums who should be on practice squads. Until Williams comes back Lazard is his #2 target. Lazard isn’t a top 100 pass catcher in the nfl.
2024 NFL POWER RANKINGS - WEEK ONE
Superbowl Contenders
1. Chiefs (1-0)
2. Niners (1-0)
3. Ravens (0-1)
4. Lions (1-0)
5. Eagles (1-0)
6. Cowboys (1-0)
7. Texans (1-0)
I don't think much to say here.
Playoff Teams
8. Dolphins (1-0)
9. Bills (1-0)
10. Jets (0-1)
11. Packers (0-1)
12. Rams (0-1)
13. Bengals (0-1)
14. Jaguars (0-1)
Didn't mean to actually make the cut at 14 teams but it just felt right to me. Jets maybe too high but on the road in SF was a tall task. Trying not to overreact to one game.
Cool, we won a game
15. Vikings (1-0)
16. Saints (1-0)
17. Bucs (1-0)
18. Bears (1-0)
19. Chargers (1-0)
20. Steelers (1-0)
Steelers probably too high?
Maybe average-ish teams but probably not
21. Falcons (0-1)
22. Browns (0-1)
23. Colts (0-1)
24. Seahawks (1-0)
25. Raiders (0-1)
26. Pats (1-0)
Not sure what to make of Falcons, Browns Colts. The other three I think kind of stink but Seattle will probably end up impressing me over time.
Looking Ahead to 2025
27. Broncos (0-1)
28. Cardinals (0-1)
29. Commanders (0-1)
30. Titans (0-1)
31. Giants (0-1)
32. Panthers (0-1)
Sorry heels.
one of the all time great (=WOAT) punt decisions by Antonio Pearce yesterday. Who'd have thought that a tough as guts MLB would be such a pussy as a coach?
Panthers too high
We are definitely closer to the CFL than NFL.
I almost just edited "sorry heels" into the title of this thread, but thought that would be too harsh.
and holy **** I saw the cop bodycam footage.... Tyreek and the Dolphins should sue the **** out of them.
Jets and Godgers need more time. Having them start the season on the road vs the juggernaut 49ers was too much to ask of them.
Also seriously what can the 49ers trade CMC for? What do they need??!!

You think Hill wants to be in court again??
The cam footage actually contradicts Hill's earlier statement. Instead of being fully cooperative, he acted like a dick. I mean how many times did he tell the cop not to bang on his window. The cop was trying to engage him and all he got was about 5 or 6 "don't bang on my window." How about not giving orders to the cop?? He then instructed the cop to give him his ticket so he could get on his way, as if somehow Hill was in control of the traffic stop/violation.
Hill's history is very sketchy, as we all know, and I think it is pretty lol that he is acting like a victim here when his past would indicate that he gets pretty angry when he does not get his way. I had no idea his track record of abuse was as long as it was.
https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nfl/news....
I know driving while black is a real and stressful thing and I would not want to minimize that at all. We have seen and are aware of too many times that, even while being fully cooperative, there has been outrageous race-based abuse, But, I don't think Hill's actions make him any kind of poster child for a race-based agenda here. Certainly with his past he should perhaps just stay away from the topic of "abuse" all together.
Most definitely the police should have acted differently, and they should also be accountable. But no matter what your ethnicity, the way Hill dealt with the stop is the kind of way you would act if you were inviting a confrontation.
