To all the big bet HS-nosebylat regs who frequent the thread, thanks for the content! Do you guys mind sharing your thoughts on BRM for battling HUNL or HUPLO matches? Swings will almost certainly be substantial (assuming the sdv/100 between world class regs in HU big bet will be on the highest end of the spectrum).
With Iimitless, there were interviews that I read from other poker forums where he lost ~50% of his roll from his Stefan match. Even with reasonable BRM from him of ~100bi+, he lost the match and 50% of his roll in one swoop, not catastrophic but would be devastating experience for most.

None of the top players who poped up lately have to care about BRM, "old" tops poker regs, i mean who already were in the top or close of that before 2017 have to much money.
Imagine sitting with 5 M+ roll in 2016/2017 before crypto rise and being poker player. How many millions these guys have right now, depends, but one thing is clear, loosing millions does not hurt that much the roll, more the Ego and should be tough later to have to play randoms 25/50 50/100 games to get a bit of action.
It's less the case with "new" top players who did not win 10M+ playing cards and poped up after the 2016/2017 crypto cycle or who didn't have already a lot of monney to put in crypto in 2020/2021
