When you nominate uninspiring candidates, play into far left nonsense and are so smug that rather than trying to understand moderates and conservatives, you put them down and call them dumb, you get what you deserve. Leaving conservative propaganda aside, MSNBC and celebrities that couldn't shut up about Trump are largely to blame. TDS is real. It's not that their concerns about Trump are invalid, but everything has to be about him.
Not just celebrities but absolutely. We need to have enthusiasm for our side's policies, stop making it about trump or whoever and absolutely stop the condescending.

I think abortion at the same time trump crushed in a landslide in the state got 57.1% in Florida. Policies only sort of matter.
in general floridians are big on red immigration ploicies and since 2012 reds have turned that state massively in their favor idk how I assume its the immigration plicies at work for reds workign there

Abortion can be changed at the state level. Florida state legislature will now have an immense pressure to pass compromise abortion laws. Otherwise republican incumbents can be primaried by people literally going with "i am the same as this guy BUT i will vote for abortion".
So when you can achieve that at the state level, if you are rational, you don't care about it for federal elections.
