Y'all might be better than me at this

W6 maybe?

I may know what W6 is? Could be ok?

I thought of o5/6, there's obv a3 and all the variations so maybe something there

B7 could be decent to get them on track if on wrong track after first clue

w4 not bad but not by itself

Maybe a6 w4 but dunno

If w6 is what I think it is then it could be good

O6 isn’t bad
V6
V4 is good for someone in the right mindset

I dunno; I think going with JOVW to open up B7 is prolly best

They can deduce a3/a5/a6/a7

O6 then B7 to get them into right domain prolly gets it almost every time in 2

B7 is okay, I kind of like B9 more if we can prime it well enough with confirmers.

O6 —> B9 is the way imo

B9 is good also; depends on what they are thinking if we go b7 or b9; don’t have to decide now

Just have to decide if we go with O or W or V word

O prolly the best

Co-signed on O6

I'm a little worried that O could lead them astray and have them guess a different word

Similar to a7 in that like it almost should work but they'll likely guess something else

What word leads them directly there tho?

V4 maybe if they know it

Maybe w6 if they think of the right one

At least with o6 we will get it in 2

O6 and a7 are not close to being the same level of clue. O6 is way better.

V4 is fine and the type of confirmer I think makes B9 a winner over B7.

May need some more confirmers and we could get there...like w4 if they think of the word

This feels like it should be gettable even tho it's tricky

Maybe we do W6 and go that route and hope they figure out what we want with all the confirmers

W6 the only 1hitter if they know it; if they don’t know it then we prolly looking at 3 clues to get there

I would think they know W6...bolt is American right? D1 in Australia or something? Or wait is bolt in Europe I can't remember now

Bump

I’m still in O6–>B9

i'm fine with O6 and then B9 or B7 depending on their conversation

but I also know that if we are all talking about the same W6, it is a one shot if they know it and since so many here are mentioning it, including someone from England, I'm thinking maybe it's better known than I think? I'm a bad judge of what people will know

so either is fine with me; W6 is the one shot chance BUT if they don't know it then we will take 3 turns to get this

O6 could get them there in one if they deduce our other words and should almost always get them there in 2

so safe path or risky path

I like W6, I think some a variant should get it if we miss

Someone just bold something

Warner

For the record, I'm American.

Off the top of my head there's Time-Warner, which is a media group and it publishes Time Magazine plus a bunch of other stuff.

Pop Warner was an old time football coach and there's a children's football league named after him. Kind of like Little League Baseball, but American football for kids.

I just woke up and it's ungodly early here, but that's a start for us.

Warner Brothers is a major film studio. They have the pretty iconic opening to their films with the buildings that are sort of color-washed. I'm not sure if it's related to Time-Warner. It probably is.

Kurt Warner was a football MVP and a Super Bowl winning quarterback. They made a movie about his underdog rise from obscurity.

I still haven't given any thoughts to the confirming clues.

If this has to do with Warner Bros movies then O6 could be Oscars.

B9 eludes me.

I can't imagine how this could be Warner Bros with the way they were talking about it. It would be like worrying that Disney would be a shadowfax.

But that is the only Warner I know, so I'm probably gonna be pretty useless here.

Kurt Warner isn't well known enough for me to believe he's actually the clue. I have to think there's some other Warner I'm supposed to think of as an American. But it's not coming to me.
