**** 2024 Season-Long NFL PEEHS! ****
Hello again, football fans!
It’s that time of year again! The premier, flagship contest of SE, Season-Long NFL PEEHS, is returning for its 12th season, the second under my stewardship. When Kris ran this contest, I always appreciated how much fun it was, and how it brought this diverse little community of football fans together. With his blessing, I’ll be running it again, for hopefully the best installment yet!
But I may need help. I work, and it’s a long season through the holidays, and I know I won’t be available for the Thanksgiving reveals. I’d like for last year’s go-to guest revealer Rawlz517 to be able to step in, if he’s available, or I’ll take any volunteers if he’s not. If schedules change, we’ll play it by ear.
I’ve never played PEEHS before, what is it?
PEEHS is basically a fun, free NFL football futures contest. You make an entry by giving answers to the 25 questions before the season starts, and I reveal the answers once a week as the season goes along. For every question, your answer will either be CORRECT, or INCORRECT.
If your answer is CORRECT, your score for that question will simply be the number of people who selected your same correct answer. If you’re the only person to select your correct answer, that’s an ACE! …and your score for that question is 1.
If your answer is INCORRECT, then your score for that question is the number of people who picked the SHEEP answer (most popular answer), plus the number of different correct answers submitted for that question. The SHEEP (most popular answer) can be either correct or incorrect; all that matters is the number of people who selected the SHEEP.
Therefore it’s most important to be CORRECT in all your answers, but also be among the fewest participants that select your correct answers.
Scores add up per question over the season. Lowest score wins.
Our reigning 2023 Champion is pwnsall!
How do I enter?
Anyone can enter by sending me a single-spaced, non-numbered PM with your answers. Please correctly spell first AND last names for player names, and just use mascots for team names.
Since we get questions on this every year...

Good luck and let us football!!!
Imagine getting this question wrong. Couldn't be me.
Time to wake up out of those food comas....
***It's time for the (guest) REVEAL***
(reminder, I will not be updating the scoreboard. TJ will when he returns)
13. Name a player to score at least 1 point IN A WINNING EFFORT in a game on Thanksgiving. (Ru/Rec/Ret TD ok, kickers ok, passing TD's excluded).
Notice the key word there, "winning". Some of you failed to complete that part and unfortunately there is no half credit in PEEHS.
As always, we start with the incorrects....
Our first incorrect was taken by four players. He is vastly considered one of the best WRs in the league, if not the best, but he has faced a few big hurdles things year. Those hurdles are called 'Cooper Rush' and 'The Sun'. He could not overcome both of those yesterday...

The next incorrect was taken by three of you. There's really two ways to approach this question. You play it safe with a kicker, or you YOLO a positional players. Turns out even the safe option isn't always save as Brayden Narveson got himself fired long before thanksgiving and thus these three were helpless...

A pair of players went down with the next incorrect. This Lions WR is also considered one of the best in league, but Amon-Ra St. Brown couldn't find the endzone either...

I'm going to be blunt with the next one. Two of you took Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, which was a really good pick..... in 2018. Get with the times, you two.

The next incorrect is once again a WR that is consider to be the cream of the crop in the NFL, Tyreek Hill. Unlike the previous two stand-out WRs, Tyreek managed to find the endzone this week!.... but alas, the Dolphins came up short in Green Bay. Fantasy owners don't care about the final score, but for the purposes of this questions, PEEHS owners sure did....

WTF. I must have misread the question to exclude kickers or I'm sure I would have taken Aubrey. Rawlz, I'm sure if TJ were here he would let me switch my answer due to a clear misunderstanding, so, if you could go ahead and change my answer to Brandon Aubrey that would be great. Thanks in advance.
There were a lot of ace hunters in this question, so I'm going to reveal most of them in one post, but I wanted to send a special shout out to one of you. Tony Pollard has been a big part of the Cowboys offense for the last five years and was the clear RB1 once Zeke left. There's just one tiny problem.... he signed with the Tennessee Titans in March. Whoops

If somebody had guessed Overshown.... I would have some questions.
The first correct answer was our SHEEP, Brandon Aubrey. He was taken by... let me count here... ok, I need to take off my shoes for this one.... EIGHTEEN of you absolute squares.

Three of you took the next correct answers, Lions kicker Jake Bates, who is still dead to me for being an incorrect answer to the 50 yard FG question. What an *******. But hey.. good for you guys...

A pair of you took the next correct answer. Former Raiders RB, Josh Jacobs who is likely very thankful for not being in that dumpster fire of an organization anymore.

I’d rather have a player not on a team than be part of an 18 way SHEEP.
Finally, we end with three aces. Honestly to have the god-given talent to ace this question is simply amazing. Never in human history has such a feat been accomplished. If I were you, I'd put this on your resume immediately.

With the SHEEP score of 18 and 6 different correct answers given, incorrects for this week are worth 24 which appears to be a new single-question high score for this season. CONGLATURATION!
2nd ace this year. Boooooooom!!!!
