I prefer calling the 3bet because playing 3bp as the OOP PFR is probably one of the hardest things to do in poker. Especially from BB where you get less practice when compared to SB. And also deep stacked poker is harder than 100bb poker.

I think his flop call is a mistake as well. He needs to be fast playing this hand as AK is never folding to a XR and only has 6 outs on 54. Worst case scenario is you have AA/KK and then it's a flip.

I looked up MDA for XC25-X-B lines as 4bps OOP PFC and they are overbluffed against BTN/CO as a default. This board texture would be underbluffed though so not sure how much we can read into that.

Yeah I was thinking if I hit a K turn instead of an A I would be tempted to x back since he has all the AJ/AQ to bluff but when the A hits he has to bluff like TT/JJ which is much harder to find, but 4bet pots are tricky sometimes so I just default to pseudo-gto for flop and turn alot.

4BP MDA is interesting because some lines that are overbluffed in 3BPs are underbluffed in 4BPs and vice versa.

I know you are the 4BP IP PFR here but let’s say this was a COvsBTN spot and you were CO as the 4BP OOP PFR.

The B-X-B line is actually underbluffed and the triple barrel is overbluffed.

I’m assuming most people would think the opposite as I did before seeing the data.

We know from MDA the 3BP IP PFC overstabs 10% more than GTO on average. We also know KQo is a 0EV call vs a turn jam but they probably won't fold it.

So put less bluffs in this line and more value.

AK with those suits blocks their folds and doesn’t block calls, plus makes worse hands fold. From perspective of EV from flop+turn folds random A5s better if u have it. But from the perspective that IPs bluff barrels usually polar and either stuff that snap folds or calls off vs xjam, this AK fits, so I think it's fine but I also think you can use it to check and try and make good top pair

River I’d fold as well, I can see AK AQ AA with diamond xcall ott then donk jam pot if oop thinks ip wont reopen often enough with worse than say Qflush or bluffs. Even though it’s scare card for your non-flush (2p set straight QQ no diamond) turn value hands, donk bluffing probs involves turning pair into bluff, which seems less likely for random 25 reg

My theory is I prefer to learn the spot postflop if it is mixed in a solver. I also think 4BP OOP PFR is one of the hardest spots to play well so we will gain some EV playing in position.
