2024 NFL Regular Season: g-bebe’s Lamar attempts to slay Dom’s Josh for title of mafia boss
You know, since the Super Bowl periodically i will watch the CBS Sinatra intro cuz it was ****ing magnificent. Halfway t
I saw it being suggested somewhere that all 15 yard penalties be reviewed automatically.
Don't think it would add a ton of time to the games. We all knew the roughing the passer call on the Texans was wrong before the next play was run.
The rules guy on ESPN said they can actually review that call and overturn it but only if there is ZERO contact to the helmet. I mean that just defeats the purpose since it clearly wasn't enough contact to warrant the penalty. Everyone's helmet basically gets hit slightly on a tackle.
I think Coen was the straw that broke the camel's back. I love how there was basically back to back reporting of Coen receiving a raise to remain OC with TB instead of taking the Jags job and then Baalke is fired.
Glenn wouldn't even interview with the Jags, but I think he was basically Jets or bust, as he said the Jets was his dream job.
I'm not sure if Ben Johnson would have ultimately chosen the Jags had Baalke not been there; probably not. But Baalke being there gave the Jags a 0% chance to land Ben.
ah ok. we've all got to the same point
I'd guess BB might have considered that role without Baalke
Looks like Josh can make more history this weekend by becoming the first QB to ever go 0-4 in the playoffs vs another QB.

idk. I think he's gonna win this weekend. Chiefs D is very good, but the Bills attack is very potent and I just don't think the Chiefs O has enough points in them
home field is a thing for the Chiefs but the Bills won't be scared by the weather
Excellent!
thank god i'm not a bills fan
I doubt it in this situation. Drafted 12th overall by the Jets in 94 and played 8 seasons with the org. Ended up being the 3rd overall pick in the expansion draft by the Texans in 02.
Does that mean he wouldn’t have taken another HC job if he liked the spot? Probably not, but I believe the Jets were his dream job.
As far as the Saints, he played his final season with them. Then he was the db coach from 16-20 before moving to the Lions.
Prepare to be completely unsurprised again.
HOUSTON -- Joe Mixon was fined $25,000 by the NFL for something he didn't say after the Texans' divisional round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the running back and his agent.
Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh posted in agreement with Mixon, writing: "Why play the game if every 50/50 call goes with the Chiefs. These officials are [trash] & bias."
Sports Illustrated originally attributed Houshmandzadeh's quote to Mixon in a story. The NFL then cited the "50/50" quote in levying the fine to the running back, according to Mixon and his agent, Peter Schaffer.
The Chiefs really are running this thing. I’m just relieved the Panthers haven’t been negatively affected.
My understanding is Coen was given advice from Arians to stay on as OC but if he wanted to take a job, Jags was his best option, but still not a great choice. Doesn't sound like Coen was crazy about Baalke but was willing to work it but instead leveraged it to a nice payday. I think Jags had an outside shot at Johnson but ultimately Bears was a much better fit. Baalke likely cost them a shot at pursuing Johnson.
Leftwich for sure was missed out on with Baalke though. Jags likely end up with Brady with Saleh also as a potential and they will select the new GM with the help of Boselli. It's a cluster for sure. Not a great time for fans of the Jaguars.
Kellen Moore also could interview very well. I'm very high on Moore and feel like he would be a great fit. But again, don't think his mentors will suggest Jags to him. Of the group with what I know my personal rankings would probably be
1. Coen
2. Moore
3. Brady
4. Johnson
5. Saleh
I'm very hesitant on the New Coast offense if you don't have elite line play and a dynamic back. Which is hypocritical with me saying Coen is #1, but feel like Coen showed a lot of adaption and finesse with his system. Moore I feel fits Jags the best just with the style of play the Eagles have and how he modified an already very strong base that Steichen had left behind for Brian Johnson.
Alright, enough rambling. I'm also very bias and ignore my comments. Lefwich #1.

no Kingsbury?
not sure why anyone would choose to leave JD's side at the moment
if i'm Kliff, i'm riding this wave for another couple of yrs
plus you hear ppl in the know say that Kliff is best suited as an OC... not the admiral of the ship having to worry about every little detail of being a HC

Coen now meeting with the Jags again! The Baalke effect!
Sounds like he’s ghosting the Bucs lol.
