We're calculating all-in EV, not EV.

FD, if EV on the hand you go all-in on is not the same as all-in EV, then could you add the option to the main chart? Using the current chart, with $ and EV selected, it looks like a bad decision that I was lucky on. When in fact, with 59.09% EQ, it was a good decision that worked out. Since the data is already there, you could use the same formula. The red line shows $7.32 EV.

I'm going to re-post our own blog explaining this because every so often I get someone on a quest trying to understand all-in EV, and it ends the same way every time because it's a misunderstood stat. In DH2 we're following existing data points since this was commonly known and used previously by the poker community. Maybe this old article will help you understand it better:

Regarding AiEV, it's always bothered me because it's sort of pointless. Is it possible to get an EV stat that calculates EV based on when you put money in the pot instead of when it went all in? Or does this already exist? It would only be possible to know if we go to showdown, but would be much more accurate.

It should be possible, as long as the cards (or range) are known, CardRunnersEV and all GTO programs calculate EV on each action. In places where DH2 calculates EQ, it should be possible to calculate EV.

That's the core of the issue w/ AiEV. You have to know all hole cards, and that's not always the case. So that's why it's only calculated after money is in and all hole cards involved are known at showdown.

Yes, this was already addressed.. it was just the popups that weren't doing that.

Ignition disconnects for a few seconds about every hour. Sometimes the HUD stays up, sometimes its lost and you get the error message saying the table has to be opened AFTER Drive loads. So we have to exit totally out of Ignition and restart because you can't open tables after the disconnect. Huge nuisance.

If there's anything to be done about this that would be nice. Some way of making the HUD linger longer during the brief disconnect.

After a short disconnect, even after getting the message, you will normally get your HUD back (with data) after 1 to 2 hands.

We had one other report of this (not sure if you're the same person). The dev team is checking this. I tried to replicate actually myself yesterday w/ no success. I'd expect a lot of tickets if this was happening consistently, so I'm wondering if it's related to other software also being run.

But I'd start with re-installing Ignition. That seems to resolve a lot of issues. And like I said, I know the dev team is checking into this as well.

It will always return, but sometimes it can take several hands. It just depends when ignition sends the key again, and it's somewhat random.

Hey I have a problem with the replayer ( I play at Coinpoker). In differents hand my position ( hero) change at the replayer, and if I put that hide opponent cards this hide my cards too, and if I put that hide hero cards, don't hide it. Seems that the replayer don't recognize hero

The HS regs thought the EV calculation was off too from what most players are familiar with, so they switched databases for tracking the Coin Poker cash game championship.

We just went over this just now in this thread though. Drivehud is calculating all-in EV. It's the same calculation every database uses including HM. So not sure what he's talking about honestly.

Are these hands at the same table? Are you sure this isn't from a session and it's moving position based on the table it's showing?

Not the same table always ... But i seat at the same position always ( CoinPoker dont have prefered seat but i mannualy setup once time and then the software seat me at the same position )

BTW the real problem is that the replayer dont recongize me like Hero , and for that reason i cant hide the villain cards because hide my cards too

Ok, it's really hard to say what the issue is w/o a log. Can you send a log via the support icon in DH2 and explain the situation. I'll have someone on the dev team check this. ty.

You likely won't be able to do this, as it will be too large for most attachments. It's better to upload it to google drive or some cloud drive so that he can download and import it.

But if it's a backer, it's much easier to send him a stakee report. DH2 has a special staker / stakee reporting system that you can send encypted data to him about your play in a report. You can read more about it here:
