Look, I very clearly said I am struggling right now in my real life with a lot of this garbage. It’s finally clear to me that the last thing I need on top of it all is to be wasting my time being berated and accused of various thought crimes by a bunch of ******* men on the internet for my attempts at being thoughtful and fair with them. I can’t even express my distaste for this place at this point. Maybe I just need a vacation or something.

This is something that you have to enjoy doing or else it woulsnt make sense, to me at least. Some people enjoy yelling at others, many dont.

My guiding principle will be "Grow up, it's just the internet".

Exactly, but it will simultaneously cost you your skincare routine and any will at all to live
(1) You have major issues with men
(2) It causes you to dumb stuff like volunteering to moderate over a male dominated space
I can only imagine the other dumb stuff it causes you to do in your daily life.
The solution is simple: Acknowledge this reality in a way that you won’t forget so you can get off this dumb ride you’re on.

No one's saying this is about you at all, but about the idea of someone sitting in a bar with friends, interrupting their conversations and arguments and silencing them or even kicking them out of the bar.

Apart from the basic idea of people being able to talk freely, the problem with trying to moderate people talking with each other is that interference is almost always seen as unfair by at least one party so it makes things much worse and reduces the chance of rows blowing over. It also becomes a challenge for some.

The thing some of you seem to be unable to comprehend is that this forum will be moderated by someone or it will cease to exist. You all have successfully chased away even the most well intentioned people from volunteering here. So what happens next is on you guys. Best of luck.
Sorry but wouldn't a man pushing back be white Knight patriarchal and presumptuous that women are inherently weak and need a man to defend them, in this case via pushing back? Hard to navigate these days is all.

The best people at sorting out trouble in pubs has always been female, not male, bar staff imo.
