New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

In the suburbs, 4 piece nuggies gets a cute box. My local uses paper sacks

This one had the dual drive thru, ordering pickup at the counter added like 5 mins toy wait time. Gotta enjoy the few places that still offer seating!

What-a-burger bringing back the 'shroom n Swiss burger, for a limited time only, beginning in April, in case you were missing it.

what should I do with all my McDonalds happy meal toys?

we're talk thousands of pieces still sealed... starting from probably 1980 or so.

I really liked that when JITB had it for a limited time.

I want a taco bell feast with no concern for price of items.

Might be time to stake McMuffin. LET A BROTHER FEAST.

THOUSANDS?!?! Damn, that is a lot of happy meals.

Some of those I bet are worth some money. Personally I would probably sadly toss them if total value is less than $100

I can't see them being valuable... but one never knows. they used to be somewhat well made, even metal in some instances... lots of IP properties from decades past.

Best way to gauge it is to search ebay for similar items that have sold. Gives you an idea of what you might be able to get. Takes a little effort but it might be worth it if you find some rare items that are collectible and sought after.

happy happy joy joy

$26 shipping? Rip-off imo

your best bet may be to sell things as complete unwrapped sets (if you have them)

Whatever you choose to do with those toys, decluttering will be a net positive.

I never dreamed meals could be so happy.
You ron good!

I am on board with this philosophy.
Like all things, Half the fun was putting together the collection... after that, its just a pain in the arse.
Things you own, end up owning you.

back to actual fast food reviews
had the new tb calente cantina chicken burrito at lunch today

coming from someone who typically loads each bite of anything with a packet of fire sauce, none of that was needed
that had some spice similar to artificial chicken tinga with 10x the cayenne

supplied with a pouch of guac salsa
a nice counterpoint but not enough to make it enjoyable

will not repeat

I had the caliente chicken burrito for a second time the other day. I'm about ready to be done with my local Bell. It was dreadful. The one I had at another location previously was very good.

A moot point, mostly, because if I'm going to pay $8 for a burrito I'll just spend whatever it costs to get a real burrito somewhere.

Plus, you'll be able to buy more crap with the money!

I’m at least interested in what the brightest minds here think of the optimal Taco Bell feast, with no regard to price.

has Mac D's ever had a hotdog meal?
serious question here...

According to Google, it was tried in 1995 in the Midwest, didn't last long due to poor customer reviews/sales.

Oh damn...

maybe it's a euro thing now...

I know in Hawaii you can get White Rice and Pork Sausage at Mac D's.

JITB has a lot of deals .. 50% off your order is pretty spicy

$6 for two jumbo jack.meals!

It's not like they sell gourmet crap. Their most expensive thing is about 8 bucks? Most people probably have no regard for price anyway.
