[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
I think it’s turn off animations or something like that in settings
I have finally had enough. The crashes are too constant. I'm done.
I'll keep checking this page to see if they finally fix the problems. Until then, best wishes to you all.
The 100 games now have one less player in the pool.

I just noticed they added some 8 and 9 handed tables again

There are really no crashes on my end except that one time that i mentioned above.
I've been playing daily for the past month and have had no other issues.
A good way to know if it's the site or if the problem is on end users is to see if many other people complain here.
anyone else having issue updating the latest version on MacBook?
i have found the wsop site to work rather well since their latest updates. consider me shocked by the fact i am saying this. i think their site sucks beyond belief.
but i have a few problems. i am working on multiple monitors and they used to have a feature where windows were resized and could be positioned on the other monitors at the location from your last use. they removed this feature. that was stupid. now every window opens over each one at the same size. i know they removed it because i can see it in one of their files. if you know how to code, you could set up you could exact window sizes and positions. it seems they might be re-integrating that back in, because the last few times i have played, it shows a new size for one window. do not attempt if you are not sure of what you are doing. you have been warned. i am not going to tell you which file. those with experience coding will be able to do this if they choose to.
i also have seen crashes but only in one scenario. if i have a table open and i am playing on it and i accidently try to open that same table it will freeze for about 15-20 seconds and then it will crash. if you open the software back up without restarting your computer, you can get back on the tables, but if you are looking to stay topped off on your 100BB stack, it will not do it. you have to manually top off each time it dips below 100BB. i have witnessed this more than once.
for those experiencing crashes more frequently - what are the specs on your machine? if you are not running windows 11 and are not running with a minimum of 12GB of RAM, i am going to guess you will crash if you have multiple tables open. your best bet is to have no animations running and limit as much stuff that requires any kind of processing power. i can tell you i had an older machine and the memory would build up on it until the site crashed. it happened all the time. it could take 20 minutes or it could take an hour. but i rarely lasted longer than one hour. and that was with a max of 4 tables i was playing on and maybe a couple more open looking at the games.
i even reported it to them. of course, it fell on deaf ears. they told me it was probably my machine as nobody else was reporting the problem. they would be partially right as i am guessing they have a memory leak problem where they are not purging a memory build up and it finally overloads your older or weaker machine and causes the crash. i have never fully looked into why it was crashing but since i used to work in the software field i know when something looks the way it does and what it most likely means. but ultimately, if it is a memory leak problem, that is piss poor software and that falls squarely on wsop.
as for myself i am running 32GB of RAM on windows 11 laptop with an ok graphics card. i push a signal to 2 other monitors besides the laptop monitor. again, i have no problems running this and other stuff in the background, like notepad, a simple app i wrote to track time and a couple of things related to time while i am playing, and a couple of other minor things. the other stuff is non poker related. some days it could be a browser and other days it could be something else.
not sure how MDMASherdog is running H2N and wsop is not flagging it. i tried running pokertracker one time because i was playing on acr and was recording the games there and they shut the wsop app down on me. that was before the large update last year right before wsop time when they launched that abomination of an update. since then i never have pokertacker open for fear of them thinking i am doing something somehow. i rarely play on acr anyway so it is not a huge deal. MDMASherdog might want to be careful of this.
back to my system, i am not trying to brag about having something that it sounds like many of you do not, but it is just to show how much processing i am doing while not crashing. maybe this will give some of you a place to look at for your own systems.

It is illegal to use a HUD on the site. HUDs running operate on other sites but donβt work on WSOP because of the ban. It is fine to have HUD open and running for the other sites, which is what he was doing.

i was using my hud on acr, not wsop, and they still flagged me for having it open. i got a popup message from the wsop app telling me i had a hud open and the app would close. i would think that it would be fine to have it running since you get no data from wsop anyway, but that was not the case for me. i was just throwing that out there to inform others. again, this was before the massive update last year, so maybe things have changed. personally, i am not gonna chance it.
i did however, have a new complaint about wsop. this started yesterday (april 2, 2025) for the first time.
i now get no notes showing up on any player. i can open the notes file. for those who do not know, it is stored locally on your machine. all of my notes are there for all players, they just do not show up in the app. i checked to make sure the file was not using some kind of malformed data in some way, and that proved negative.
i could add new notes, close the app and reopen it and those new notes would show. all the old notes still would not appear. however, today (april 3, 2025) i logged into the app and it started all over. no notes appear once again. no color coding - nothing.
it seems once you shut down your computer and restart, that is somehow affecting the notes so they do not work again. so it seems wsop is doing something on their end to cause this problem. this would only make sense since we have not had an update that i have seen, and the only way something like this could happen is if they changed something in the backend to affect the app.

For those in NJ/MI it's just not really an option to not use HUD simultaneously to playing on WSOP. We don't get error messages/warnings for having them open as they don't work on WSOP.
Card Strike gone?
Is anybody else having this issue where it reset your completion bonus to bottom tier?

Pennsylvania Regulator Says Some Poker Sites Ready to Begin Interstate Traffic Sharing Within Weeks
"The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) told PlayPennsylvania on Thursday that networked poker under the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) would “launch within the next couple of weeks” and begin sharing liquidity"
"Harbach also noted that he anticipates some Pennsylvania online poker operators to start sharing liquidity immediately. Asked for clarification by PlayPennsylvania on whether he meant that some operators would be ready to go live with multistate offerings immediately, he responded in the affirmative.
However, he also cautioned that some might not be as fast."
Bet MGM meeting with Nevada gaming is scheduled for 4/24/25 and that is when we find out if they are finally going to launch in Nevada.
What happened to rewards points?
These last 3 days it feels like I`m getting 5 times less than what I`m usually getting. What's happening?
New owner layin the smack down maybe
I really wish MGM would come out with their site already. I still don't understand why they make you start over levels each month. Every site in the history of online poker has given you a chance to make a top status and stay there for a while. I don't care how high they make it but give us an incentive to reach it.
They got rid of the BLAST leaderboard?

This is one of my top 5 reasons why I choose to not play on this site; the other four include lack of tournaments that I'm interested in playing, slow withdraws, worst odds of hitting a top tier lottery jackpot spin & go, and very small increases in their tournament payouts.

They want to incentivize consistent play every month. I'm not saying their idea is that great, but they want to keep you playing consistently rather than playing large amount early and then stop playing so much later.

Only no one would voluntarily "stop playing so much later" if they took the time to build up the level that donof is talking about.... that doesn't make any sense. They'd play more. As much as they could. What am i missing?
They're practically instant if you cash out at the cage. It's literally the best cash out process in the history of online poker lol.
They're incompetent operators. We all know this.
But, the cashout process has, SOMEHOW, turned into literally the best cashout process not only in the history of online poker, but the best cashout process in my experience for any platform (poker or gambling of ANY kind) in the 25+ years that I've been doing this. Perhaps they only got one thing right, but they're killing it .... and it's the most important thing to me, personally.... and I'll put up with all the other stuff because of it.
Cage cashout is not something to be happy about, stars is instant into my bank and I dont have to go anywhere, wsop claimed to do that but they wanted a verifcation with an unused check first. Still it takes days even with it.
