My understanding of the story is that Muhammad had a child bride. Assuming Muhammad actually existed, that's awful and abhorrent. It would be one of countless millions of horrible crimes throughout history that are done in the name of religion or at least excused with religious justifications.
Despite my feelings above, I still regard the mass murdering of Palestinians (some of whom are Christians and other non-Muslims, btw) by the IDF as one of the most horrendous war crimes of this century. I know that some Muslims are highly opposed to the way I live, and I still want them to live happy, healthy, full lives. This may blow your mind, what little of it exists. You types aren't exactly the most empathetic people around.
