New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.
In
Rally's is #1 i think
Not including Bojangle’s is blasphemy.
Habit has free salads with $5 purchase until Friday. The Cobb was delicious.
Went to the Hut and got a large 1-topping and 16 wings for $18.
Pizza was solid, but I completely forgot that I really don't care for their wings.
Seasoned > regular
Rallys and Arby's
Seasoned vs Unseasoned are two completely different leagues to me
Seasoned:
1 - Bojangles (can’t believe I’m agreeing with a Tarheel fan)
2 - Popeyes
3 - Checkers
4 - Arby’s
5 - Taco Bell
Unseasoned:
1 - McDonalds
2 - Wendy’s
3 - Burger King
4 - Chick-fil-A (was #2 for awhile, but recipe change and discontinuation of the queso locally bump that down)
5 - 5-Guys
oh wow... I have NEVER eaten at bojangles, but it just so happens that they just opened a brand new location less than a couple minutes from my home.
IMAGOING to have to try it now.
the lack of respect for In N Out ITT is stunning...
INODS!
I think Bojangles isn’t available in as many markets/has less outlets (feel free to check my work and flame).
Checkers/Rally’s is my vote.
Yeah, Bojangles is definitely more regional so that's fair.
Your work is correct.

I'd put the Cajun seasoned near the top of the seasoned list. I don't think I ever get them not seasoned.

You definitely need to try it.
The fries and Bo's chicken sandwich are great. All of the sides are pretty good. The mac and cheese is my second favorite behind the fries. The Cajun filet biscuits are good. The original recipe chicken is good. It's one of the few fast food places that I still eat at regularly.
dmatz mentioned the Boberry biscuits above. They're not really my thing, but I know plenty of people who love them.
Been hankering for KFC.
For the first time, Ponied up .55 cents for a cup of gravy to dip my sandwhich in. My world is changed for the better.
If you are in Vegas Schu a new Xabys also opened if you are in search of more southeastern regional fried chicken. The use peanut oil, I like their product as well.
I know it wasn't that good, but it makes me smile every time I open this thread and there's a Fudruckers burger picture staring at me. I'd know that bun anywhere.
I read sometime in the last year one guy saved the franchise from bankruptcy, there's < 10 left of them I think. Really hoping he could pull it off. Nothing but sky high memories for that place for me. (Bakery onsite for buns, cookies and brownies FTW.)
That Bojangles near Ft. Smith, Arkansas better get ready cause I'm pretty sure I'm headed there in the next few weeks. Somehow I'd always imagined them all being in North Carolina.
edit: ugh, just noticed that San Antonio already has one. That coulda been me.

I tried Zaxby’s in Utah when I was there a couple years ago, and it was completely forgettable. Much prefer Cane’s.
Free cobb salad 12.29 value for $5 purchase was a sick deal, tyvm for the notice
However the beef patty on my 1/2 Santa Barbara char meal deal thing had to be a 1/10 lb, like a McDonald's hamburger. Not even a mcdouble!
May try the chicken instead
