Help. I've been playing on Bovada for years and haven't withdrawn money for many years. Now I find that checks are no longer available. I have never
done cryptocurrency. How can I withdraw using one of the methods. I'm a baby boomer. What is the easiest way to do crypto?
install this extension on your browser and generate an ethereum address. Choose ETHEREUM when you withdrawl from bovada/ignition.
Once you have the ETH in your metamask wallet you will want to send it to an exchange:
www.kraken.com
www.coinbase.com
www.gemini.com
just setup accounts with all of these exchanges and connect them to your bank acct. DO NOT SEND CRYPTO DIRECTLY FROM BOVADA/IGNITION TO THE EXCHANGE. YOU WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNTS LOCKED UP MORE THAN LIKELY. GO TO YOUR OWN WALLET FIRST THEN THE EXCHANGE.
good luck
my restart client thing finally stopped i think. my client was sitting on the login screen as i was doing other **** and when i came back the restart prompt was up, after clicking ok and updating it seemed to stop after that. idk if it was just coincidence but worth a try
I haven't played in a while. It feels like the player pool is healthier. Bots still here unfortunately
There putting more than 2 bots per table now?
I guess I could try again but last time I logged on to this site almost every hand was 3bet and nobodys vpip was over 35 at all 4 of my tables so.
my friend had this to say about Bovada Late Reg Collusion
"Alright, listen up everyone. I'm not one to air my grievances on forums, but this has gone way too far. I've been on the Bovada/Ignition network for years, and I've seen a lot of sketchy stuff, but this late registration collusion scam is the most blatant and infuriating thing I've ever encountered.
It's not a conspiracy theory, it's a cold, hard fact. I'm talking about a group of players, sometimes a huge chunk of a table, all registering at the absolute last minute. You can tell they're a crew because they stall to 1 sec left in the timebank everyhand and stall a ton.
And what do they do? They soft-play each other. Mass tanking every single hand. I'm not talking about a couple of people thinking on a tough spot. I'm talking about seven out of nine players at my table using their entire time bank preflop, then checking it down to a showdown, and then doing it all over again. A single hand takes 8 minutes, sometimes longer. The whole point is to stall until the bubble bursts, guaranteeing a min-cash for the whole crew.
I saw it in the Crazy 8s last night, and the Minor Niner. It's happening way too consistently to be a coincidence. The most frustrating part? The site does NOTHING. I've reported it, I've sent in hand histories, and I get the same canned response about "fair play." It's a joke. They either don't have the tools to detect it, or they just don't care because the rake is good.
This is making it almost unbearable to play MTTs. It's not just costing me EV; it's ruining the game. It's a slap in the face to every player who grinds for hours to build a stack and then has to deal with this nonsense on the bubble.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've seen some chatter on Twitter and Reddit, but it needs to be talked about more widely. We need to put pressure on Bovada to fix this, or it's going to get even worse. I've even considered putting together a detailed report with hand histories and timestamps, but honestly, what's the point if they won't even acknowledge the problem?"
they want to make the software worse. no one believed it was possible, so they show that even the worse poker software can get even worse

Nothing in this post is illegal. What is exactly this guy reporting to the website? people using their timebank? people registering within late registration?
Only thing posted so far ITT that seems to be shady is the 'getting new timebank after using all your timebank' thing, everything else is just annoying, but not illegal.
And this comes from someone that stopped playing a bunch of MTTs on there because they drag too long due to stuff like this. But there's nothing really you can do because, like I said, there's no 'crime' in using your time bank or max late regging.
^^^ The group that is making the most money is doing more than just the 'max late reg and max stall'. They are card sharing and dumping to each other.
Here is an example from the 162 a few nights ago. UTG and BB are both part of the group. UTG opens AJo off 10 bb's, BB defends 57s off of 2.5 bb's. Regardless of how the board ran out, BB was going to bet his half blind on the river and UTG was going to fold... Which is what happened, but this particular runout (A78J3 rainbow) makes it very clear that they are colluding. UTG folded to an all-in bet of 2500 into 19200 with top two on that board.

yea it's ridiculous. Ignition need to reduce the default timebank from 20s to maybe 12-15s and reduce the timebank extension as well. I hate how they tank even when they're even ITM too
Yeah, no reason for a 20 second default bank with a 90 second extension. 15 seconds + 30 second extension is enough.
Also, they can program it so that you don't get seated next to all other late reggers. This is really the biggest problem, there can be a dozen tables full of the same late reg crew in a 40 table tournament.

actually its obvious they are colluding and sharing cards if you watch them play
I was forced to do the web browser login just now. Currently playing and I dont see any bots atm...
It was nice while it lasted. Bots are back....
I am also being forced into a web browser login in. Has Bonition made a statement anywhere on social media or their forum that this is the only version of software going forward with no more downloaded app?
Just caught up on all the mtt late regger talk. I been playing mtt on ignition for last 10 years religiously. The late reg crew are def colluding. I’ve been in spots where they pass a bb to the guy who needs it most. Saw in this thread ppl posting Hand history with all cards shown where they fold 2 pair to a 0.5bb all in. This is getting so out of hand. The 1kaire they will collude to block u from getting in. It ruins the entire game play. You build a sick 20 starting stacks stack and just getting thru the bubble you haven’t even played hands and ur 80bb stack goes to 20bb. It’s just so bad all around.
I regged an event with like 8 seconds the other night to test it, and 100 accounts got in after me? They will collude and pass chips to whoever needs it the most even after the bubble burst.
1 super simple fix: after reg closes do a automatic table redraw for entire field.
Very concerning that when you complain to them and show them video or HH evidence they don’t care or block u from the forums. I don’t wanna give up on them cus it’s been my spot for 10 years, but what the **** can you do?
The mtt ecosystem has been so ruined lately, why don’t they care? It’s very scary .
I know wpn was shady, but maybe now ignition is even worse. Is it time to switch? I’d rather play a bot than play a colluder. **** it’s just so sad

Of course they don’t care. 95%+ of their profit comes from casino and sportsbook — poker’s just bait to get people on the site. Why would they spend money chasing colluders and bots when it’d cost more than poker brings in?
And even if they did care, it’s not a one-time fix — it’s constant work. You need full-time staff, tech, and long-term tracking. They will never invest this much resources.

Agreed. If they didn't invest in the resources to stop the cheaters a few years ago before it got out of hand, they certainty aren't going to do it now that they lost half their cash game traffic. It is pretty clear they made a decision a long time ago that it wasn't worth policing the games.
