Terrorism and Extremist Violence
The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have repeatedly stated that the most persistent and lethal domestic terror threat in recent decades comes from right-wing extremists, especially white supremacists and anti-government militias.
Data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) found that from 1994 to 2021, far-right extremists were responsible for about two-thirds of terrorist plots and attacks in the U.S., while far-left extremists accounted for a much smaller share.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) tracks extremist murders: between 2013 and 2022, about 75% of extremist killings were committed by right-wing extremists, 4% by left-wing extremists
Hate Crimes
According to the FBI’s annual hate crime statistics, the overwhelming majority of hate-motivated violence is linked to biases typically associated with the far right (anti-Black, anti-LGBTQ, anti-immigrant, antisemitic).
Far-left-aligned hate crime spikes are not visible in the data in any significant way.
Bottom Line
Right-wing extremist violence is significantly more lethal and more common in modern U.S. history than left-wing extremist violence.
Left-wing violence in recent decades has been more about protest clashes and isolated actors—not systemic campaigns of political murder.
Right-wing violence has produced most extremist murders, high-profile terror attacks, and attempts to assassinate officials.

Fed will cut rates, but that won't fix anything. Its only going to get worse once the dam brakes on tarrifs. In Q2 of this year, Ford posted a loss for the first time in a while and said tariffs were expected to cost them 2 Billion a year at least. Right now theyre just eating that cost, but thats obviously not sustainable. Everyone is hoping Trump reduces tariffs, but if he doesn't, companies cant just eat that. Inflation will spike and markets will panic

someone wanna explain wth is going on with the repeatedly changing clothes and gun stuff (starting ~11:30)? honestly sounds like there was at least 1 other person involved. bizarre
Some of this is just basic "After a crazy event, people misinterpret/misrepresent facts stuff:
* The guy who first claimed responsibility (George Zinn) was apparently a local, well known crazy dude that the cops were familiar with that does weird **** all the time.
* A 200 yard shot with a 30-06 or similar rifle isn't particularly hard and the stuff like "Oh he was scared to shoot" is worthless. We have no way of knowing at the moment what his ability was. Dude could've been sneaking off for range time because he wanted to kill someone
* Guys "making hands signals" is nothing. Everything is a hand signal in retrospect and nothing is a hand signal all of the times that people give speeches and no one is shot. The guy opening an umbrella when JFK was shot was actually making a very specific and bizarre protest message, but people still think he was signalling another shooter or something equally dumb.
That said, the rifle disassembling/reassembling stuff and costume changes make no goddamn sense to me with what we know now.

its kinda weird they wasted so much time with him if they knew he was nuts but I guess thats just the typical lol cops.
I bet all the conspiracy stuff is basic human incompetence. The FBI is run by a donkey so they probably suck at their jobs thus are unable to communicate truthfully.
I do think there's some weirdness in him not talking yet. Someone has definitely pressured him to say it's all the left's fault or something.

yeah, this is the part that most concerned me. they seem to be claiming that he changed clothes a bunch of times, and assembled/disassembled the gun a bunch of times each, including on the roof (after the shot?).
i finally saw a vid of the kid in the maroon shirt/beige shorts, not sure that looks like him, but maybe. anyway, so are they claiming the guy limping in wearing the jeans/black shirt fit isn't him?
