I myself took a picture after my dad died that I cringe to think about now but was just happy to take a picture with a life long friend in the moment. Tagging Mr. Robinson’s username on Discord, a messaging platform, the acquaintance attached the images and wrote “wya” — where you at? — with a skull emoji, suggesting that Mr. Robinson, 22, looked like the man being sought.
Mr. Robinson replied within a minute. His “doppelganger,” he wrote, was trying to “get me in trouble.”
“Tyler killed Charlie!!!!” another user wrote, apparently in jest.
That was on Thursday afternoon, around 1 p.m. local time. It was not until later that night, nearly 34 hours after the shooting, that Mr. Robinson was arrested on suspicion of carrying out the assassination of Mr. Kirk
After Mr. Robinson joked that the gunman was his look-alike, another user suggested that the group could turn Mr. Robinson in and get the $100,000 reward that the F.B.I. was offering. “Only if I get a cut,” Mr. Robinson responded.
Someone posted, “Whatever you do, don’t go to a mcdonalds anytime soon,” a reference to the arrest of Luigi Mangione, who was found at a McDonald’s restaurant and charged with the killing of a health insurance chief executive in Manhattan.
Mr. Robinson agreed and offered a supposed joke of his own, writing “better also get rid of this manifesto and exact copy rifle I have lying around.”
When another user suggested that the killing of Mr. Kirk would lead President Trump to send the National Guard to Utah, the suspect replied, “in a red state??? nah CLEARLY the shooter was from california.”
I think that last statement is pretty indicative of sort of perceptual outcome he was after. But to what end is the question. Is there something to the trans issue where he thought he could kill Kirk, get away with it and send authorities on a wild goose chase? We see the latter serving as a motivator for a lot of high iq types. Or did he think this would trigger some explosion?

The reason why these left are openly cheering on tiktok or facebook etc is because they really think they are on the right side of history. They been brainwash on being so sure they are right that they killed a Hilter. Being a former Democrats I use to remember having argument with my cousin on why he shouldn't vote for Trump vs Clinton and explaining to him about gun death blah blah and holding grudge against him. Same with anyone that post about voting for Trump on Facebook. I would book mark there post and remind myself to **** on them when Trump lose the next election. It took years of reading books on mental models and how the world works to really change my view point. I think it might be too late for most poster on here. But hopefully the younger generation can change. Also the people on the left here probably live in nice cities or coastal line with nice weather and beaches. They don't interact with normal every day people. They don't see the huge change from the past +15 years of black culture. IT goes from listening to Tupac/Biggie to non sense rapping. The kids I grew up with really struggle with being left out of society and now that next generation grow up hating America and white people. Because of people on here defending their action and everything they do something bad "well I sort of agree with them, blah blah" sound to me that you guys think you are being logical but end up being a dumbass in the real world. Real world aren't default GTO solution it being able to adapt to pop tendency and understand how incentive works.

I think his wife can be given a bit of leeway here and she can be cut a bit of slack, she's probably devastated and angry and is hitting out and she's probably saying this as she feels her murdered husband would want her to, for all we know.

Yeah. I didn't know who he was by name. When the news broke my first thought was of that NBC talking head. Then I recognized him as one of those conservatives getting protested against on colleges and learned how popular he was on the right. There's just no comparison between someone like AOC's universal recognition and Kirk's despite his universal recognition within MAGA.
