Daniel Jones might not win Comeback Player of the Year but we need a Nelson Mandela award for whichever player made it out of this Giants prison and becomes great next
ny football giants are the manchester united of the nfl huh?
I still think Giants are loaded with talent, they need a qb change. I think they turn this whole thing around, playoffs......also.... I might be wrong.
Does the hold have to be in the EZ or when the ball is in the EZ?
Looked like the hold was outside of the EZ.
This. Can't believe almost no one is talking about this. If the Niners hadn't come back to win, it would be first page news. Monstrously clear to me that the hold was in the field of play. Doesn't matter that the QB was in the EZ, the penalty has to occur in the EZ for it to be a safety.
So Russ's strat is just to chuck it deep on 3rd down now, every time? YOLO?
60% of the time it works every time
It’s a formidable scent.
Stings the nostrils.
Would you like to come to the pants party?
It’s really hard to believe there was ever a time where dang3russ was considered an elite qb
Not by me. I always thought he was garbage and he just happened to be surrounded by great coaching and great talent. He always had an excellent defense on those Seattle teams too.
When he came to denver I wasn't happy about it. I understood why they did it but knew they couldn't excel with him

Russ was definitely in the elite conversation in Seattle. I originally thought he was buoyed by an elite defense, solid oline, and Marshawn, but when some of those aspects started to fall off, he played even better.
It's completely revisionist to say he was garbage because he sucks now. The stats and success in the mid 2010s show very much he was in the conversation as a top 5 QB in the league at the time.
Im not being revisitionist. Its what ive said for years. I know he had a couple of great years but so have a lot of qbs. He certainly had success and excelled well in the system he was in. You cant take that away from him.
Feels like an upset night to me. Go Lions!
Here for pain.
Lions have a tendency to fold in games like this.
Expecting the Ravens to win but I would love a close game
Nice, non-embellished anthem
Very disappointing after the build up. I expected a bugle.
Anthem: B+ (lost points at the very end as so many do)
Classic defer after winning the toss.
Good start!
I like Eli more and more every year
I forgot that the Lions don't actually play defense
56-50 final score.
He does grow on you if you give him a shot.
I may have posted this on here previously, but we stayed at a B&B several years ago that was run by a former math prof at Ole Miss and her husband. She said Eli was one of the best students she ever had. Admittedly, it was Ole Miss, but still ...
"And every run was an 'Enery"
Jeff Daniels has a few guitars.
I could do without Peyton's stupid rules blocking out an entire possession
