The murder of Charlie Kirk
Can we all admit that the majority of extremism is coming from the left over the last handful of years?
Apparently they j
Most trans women prefer to keep the fact they are trans hidden (especially if they are in sports). So there may only be 10 publicly known but to suggest there are only 10 trans women competing in college sports because we only know about 10 is beyond silly.
What's beyond silly is being obsessed about an issue that doesn't affect you in any meaningful way. How much time do of your life do you think you've wasted talking about this issue?
And fyi, the NCAA and other sports bodies have been working through this issue... it's not like nobody is addressing it.
both these arguments are correct. yes someone can lie about birth gender and get on a college team. but its going to be incredibly rare and only for low tier recruits. it might go from 10 to 20
Male. Internal testes. Thats why t levels are so high
Sex is binary. Large gametes or small. Sperm or egg. Even in the rare case of intersex. The people trying to work shop around this are ignorant or dishonest
I am not trying workshop anything, I was just under the impression that Caster had a vagina and no penis. maybe I am wrong about that, but thats what I thought the gender tests that Caster was subjected to revealed. and I further thought that a penis was the necessary and defining factor to be male under the conservative viewpoint. but I guess as usual some exceptions apply.
You guys should learn about Kantian Fairness Tendency
. There are certain things that should be made unfair to individuals but create a fair system for the whole.Yeah, we're just trying to codify common sense and decency. My main sport in hs was wrestling. If I transitioned and the girls didn't want me on their team I'd find something else to compete in. Then again, I'm not stopping Rosa Parks from getting on the bus. But if they were okay with me and I suddenly became way more competitive, I'd quit.
No it's not
Feel free to use the Google machine. Sex is in fact binary. Intersex are still either male or female
Really? I just googled and couldn't find that. But I did find this list. You seem knowledgeable about it, so could you please reply in which binary sex each of these types of people belongs?

Somewhere between 98-99% of the population is XX or XY. That is sufficient to declare biological sex is binary. Extremely rare exceptions prove the rule, they dont violate it.

Except that I specifically asked about the other combinations and was told they were still either definitely male or definitely female.
Of course these combinations are rare. As are trans people in general.

Sex is binary. we either have large or small gametes. Sperm or egg. If you're skeptical you can just Google the different intersex conditions, chromosomes, and gametes. I'm sure the answers should pop up
I wonder which is most disadvantageous for woman.
Competing vs another woman taking steroids or competing vs man taking estrogen.
Crossnerd is crazy smart.
I can’t help but think that , and of course this is normally, when given my personality i myself would drop whatever i think is the straightest thing i can think of, but how can you all even consider an actual gay persons point of view if you cant even consider a womans? I think its funny because on this place , this forum crossnerd kind of gets treated like a gay.
Does anyone else notice these threads devolve into right-wingers talking about trans people? It doesn't matter the title of the thread... it somehow always gets there.

I'll go with the former.
AI says if Lindsey Vonn had taken steroids to raise her testosterone to male levels she would have been able to beat men.
So in a hypothetical sport where the men's version paid 20x the women's, should a female be allowed to take steroids and compete?
What about the flip side: could a man just lower his testosterone to compete in women’s sports without transitioning?

I guess this goes into me not being the craziest sports fan, but 99% of sports isnt about winning right? like ms, hs, collegiate sports most people just enjoy comraderie and dont get paid for it. So on a natural basis i dont think determining winners and losers should matter that much, maybe at a professional level.
On the other hand people like niel degrasse tyson has proposed dividing sporrs into hormone levels. maybe that would be best.
my overall feeling is the reason trans issues goes back to sports is because americans care more about sports than people, and winning more than whats actually good.
I looked at wiki for the last one on the list.

It is a person with XX chromosomes, the usual pattern for a normal woman, but the article calls the people men.
They have typical male body parts, but undeveloped testes as produce no sperm.
Yes, and in each part it mentioned how of course you were not considering criminals. I obviously was considering them from my first post on the subject. I'm sorry that I didn't originally clarify that when I talked about people looking for an excuse to shoot someone, I was including criminals.
Once again, it's unitarded to lump criminals together with non-criminals, but I get it - you're emotional.
As such, this discourse would have gone smoother if you just stated something like this from the outset: "I think anyone who owns a gun, for any purpose other than killing defenseless animals for shits and giggs, is a criminal; it's not a matter of if, but when..."
At least then I would know from the outset that you're irrational.

Use Google. This took 3 seconds
People with de la Chapelle syndrome typically have small, non-functional gametes (sperm) due to their small testes and azoospermia
Of course they embryo is human. Is the embryo conscious human life?
