Hell, I don't know why I keep seeking out cover versions, but here goes. Post your favorites here.
Revisiting some of the posts in this thread and I realize I didn't follow up on this one. The only reference I have of Performing Arts high school is watching Fame in the 80s.
Was/is it like that?

I actually started going to that school the same year the movie came out, it was an insane time.
That is awesome - Fame (the tv-series) was incredibly huge in Norway in the 80s - we only had one tv-channel so the whole nation was watching and talking about Fame when that aired and the songs from it ruled the hit-lists.
That school and tv-series was a huge part of our lives and upbringing.
Also, I just realized this is the cover-thread and I linked a bunch of non-covers from Fame. That's clearly wrong, but I'm going to link this (admittedly not that amazing) cover and hope everyone forgets about that previous post:
I posted Matteo in the Jazz thread he is literally the best. He's not a shredder that is actual virtuosity.
Him and Guthrie are a lot of fun to listen to.
