Yeah that image should be of a Mets player. Not a Cubs.
Mets were almost a facebook true lock to reach the playoffs at their peak this year.
Seattle and Toronto have pretty much the same odds to make the WS right now.
Some objective stats in favour of the Jays
94 wins in the AL East versus 90 wins in the AL west - edge TOR
Toronto won season series against SEA (and DET, and NYY, and BOS) - edge TOR
Toronto has homefield advantage - edge TOR
Toronto is rested and pitching is lined up/Seattle just had a 15 inning game 5 - edge TOR
Toronto beat a 94 win NYY in 4 games / Seattle beat a 87 win team in 5 games - edge TOR
Toronto has new found Trey Yesavage - Edge TOR
Bichette is probably out again - Edge SEA
I know that Seattle is more than capable of winning and Toronto can't really be any more that a 54/46 or 53/47 favourite. That said, how some books have it as a toss up or slight edge for SEA is puzzling.
I guess Toronto needed to score more runs against the Yankees, or have a more impressive bullpen game in game 4, or maybe do a better job at getting Yankee starters out of the game early...lol
I guess I'm an AL fan rest of the way?

Toronto is Toronto- Edge Seattle
Mariners are the Mariners- Edge Toronto
Seems like a toss-up to me.
Very cool ALCS though and either one winning is fine with me.
As long as the Jays don't follow the Leafs horrific game last night.
if i know anything about toronto, the mariners are free money tonight
Let's go Jays!
Here we go!
Oh dear :/
Whew!!
Mariners should have challenged, big manager fail
BOOM
Wèeeeeeeeeee
These managers are braindead. Don't pitch to MVP candidates. How hard is that?
Oh no!
There's a jacked mutant sitting behind home plate. Slightly to the left.
Based on thread activity, no one cares for Jays or Mariners
I give the M's credit. They're playing much better than I expected given the short rest.
We'll get 'em next game.
