$100 Online, shorthand, facing small 4 bets
Not sure about these spots.
The villain has recently transitioned to be a full time online tournament grinder. They play a more GTO focused style but definitely make some moves. Not sure how they view my game, probably a bit stationy or maybe a bit sticky.
Both hands are from the same tournament. This was a super small field.
Hand 1 happened first. We are 4 handed (small tournament at the final table). Chip stacks are close between me and 2nd and 4th place has 18BB
Hero has 28BB in sb
Villain in CO (UTG) with 60BB
Preflop: Hero has Ah 5h in sb
Villain opens to 2BB, btn folds, hero 3 bets to 6BB, BB folds, Villain 4 bets to 10BB, hero?
What are we doing here? Villain is definitely capable of 3 or 4 bet bluffing, but also could have KK or something big.
Hand 2
3 handed
Hero 26BB
Villain 45BB
Btn 35BB
Preflop: Hero has Ad Td in sb
btn raises to 2BB, hero 3 bets to 6BB, Villain 4 bets to 12BB, btn folds, hero?
Not happen with any options. What is the weakest hand that you flat here? What is the worst hand that you ship with?

Hand 1 - he 4bet to 10 bb? I dunno I guess I'm just folding - he'd have to really be clicking buttons to jam here
Hand 2 - I would just jam pre with 20 bb. As played you're getting about 2 to 1 if we consider his 4b a jam - after his sizing in hand 1 I'd just get this in at this point.
Sorry, I edited the original post. In hand 2 I have 26 BB to start the hand.
For Hand 1, We have to call 4 more BB to already have a pot of ~21BB. Given how small the 4 bet is, is a call ever an option here?
hand 2 - no 4bet bluffs from bb due to stack sizes, fold. pre call or jam, 3betting would be to induce vs aggressive cutoff
hand 1 - solver has 4betbluffs that are mostly KQoff / KJoff and 4betjams suited wheelaces. maybe villain also 4bets them nonallin? if he plays as balanced as solver does, then A5s would be a profitable 5betjam - with marginal EV. I would fold, but if I knew villain is more aggressive than solver with his bluffs, I would jam.
Hand 1, a 5-bet bluff is viable if you think it'll work, certainly. That's one of those things that entirely depends on your assessment of the situation.
Hand 2 the fact that it's a cold 4! inclines me to fold.
hand 1
if villain goes for it, he can be overbluffing with offsuit Ax and maybe suited Ax. if he's balanced, the EV of our 5betjam with A5s in this spot is marginal - but the future EV is higher.
traktatus final tabelus
a recreational villain will be more unprobable to have 4betbluffs. but a nonrec who goes for that sizing will have 4betbluffs inherently.
we invest in our future EV by bluffing here - even if villain is not overbluffing. if he is - which a reg may often be - a jam with A5s will have nice EV on the spot.
And, you know, even if you're wrong in hand 1, unless he has AA, you still win about 1/3 of the time.
