I was changing channels from a station whose local news I don't watch when I saw a talking head whose name flashed across the screen: Mercy Rain.
I had to stop to see if she was reporting the weather, but, alas, she was reporting real news. Missed it by that much!
We could use a mercy rain out here. One snow so far, and it's been well over the normal temperatures.
