Bounty Builder 44 2nd hand
Hi guys, not much info for villain, around 100 hands played 28/18/7 and i'd say rather passive post.
Is river too thin? I'd be more inclined to just call if the 9 was spade OTF. I really want to jam for value here in this config, because i think his valuerange is gonna have a lot of sets. Spew?
Thanks in advance.

I think your logic is pretty sound. However, on this runout there are definitely flop bluffs that backdoored a hand (76 any suit, three-spade combos with a gutshot, like A2s, A5s, 75s). Villain sizing down to half-pot on the turn and back up on the river kinda makes me think he got there.
But it's pretty early, right? Not the end of the world if you have to rebuy.
If you lose its a cooler and so be it.
I don't mind the river jam because whatever BB has they are forced to call (unless they were bluffing with air or decide a 9x hand is no good - but that is very unlikely they played it this way even A9). And if you are behind you get to buy back in.
Now just calling on the river is OK because you would still have 38 bb's if you lose. But I really think because BB c/r'd the flop and bet large like value bet on the turn its less likely they have a draw. It could be 43s spades but there is basically one combo of that. And like Nath said there are a few suited (spades) semi bluff hands that got there. If you add in 4Xs and 3Xs spade hands it puts a decent amount of hands that got there and makes a call more reasonable. But most people wouldn't be raising with 4Xs and 3Xs hands because your pre flop raise could be 99+ and they would be making it a big pot OOP where you would basically always be making the right decision.
Yeah, i pretty much excluded the pair + spade combos tbh, didn't feel this guy would find those. I could give him 56ss, which feels very natural to find for most players.
Anyway, he did indeed have the most obvious combo of 43ss.
Thanks for the input. In retrospect i think i could've called, but i'm not losing sleep over jamming river. I think people are a lot more likely to call down in bounty builders.
He snapcalled too btw, which made me feel a bit better about my shove too.
easy jam
