New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

I read today that Red Robin is such a disaster that its entire market cap is only $60 million. We should pool our money, buy a controlling stake, put Mark_K in charge and get rich.
only if the purchase price is cheaper on their app
Definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK! The guy in the red hat is how I feel about the Rick's FoF. Eating cheese with fish is just wrong.
Spoiler
FoF goat, it just works
If eating cheese with fish is wrong I don't wanna be right
Crushed a Culver's 2 piece walleye dinner yesterday. $17 +tax. Once a year treat for me.
Yeah, Wendyβs spicy chicken used to be elite and now itβs bottom tier. Iβm wondering did it fall off so hard, or just so many other better options flood the market, or a combination of the two. Either way CFA rules, redhead drools.

Quality has defiantly fallen off a bit.
Quality is your recipe? My ass.
CFA is just consistently great.
I have a "free medium fries with minimum purchase of $1" app offer that's good once per day. What's this Free Fry Friday nonsense? Also, at the Rick's I stopped at for breakfast yesterday($2 breakfast sammich FTW) the survey code on the receipt is back to being a BOGO sammich instead of the free cookie I've been seeing. Maybe because it's a new location?
Lent is the time of the year that my Filet-o-fish prices increase. I'm use to $1.75 prices using the survey. But during lent it is $2.50 AND uses an app deal. So I have to wait 15 minutes before using the app deals again for things like fries and drinks.
btw, I noticed Jack in the Box has $3 in app fish sandwiches. Habit has free fries with a fish sandwich purchase.
We gotta move the fish!
texas and idaho may not touch geographically, but no doubt geopolitically in many ways
meanwhile mark_k out here floundering around shilling haddock with cheese while playing cod
Red, you've inspired me. I'm going for the Red Robin fish sandwich (with endless sides) tonight.
It has no cheese.
I can't even imagine a fish sandwich with cheese.
And I've never even eaten an entire FF fish sandwich. I might have taken a bite of one decades ago. I blame early fish sticks and poorly prepared fresh caught fish for my aversion. But cheese? Jesus Christ, you heathens!
been listening to tribe called quest all day and feeling inspired by certain peaceful paces of sharing thoughts on peoples life
Tonight I had Jet's Pizza for the first time ever. They advertise all the time here (Chicago area) . Chicago pizza is awesome and chains are generally avoidable. But ... but I ocasisnally like a thickish crust. And the constant TV ads convinced me I had to try this "Detroit Style" pizza. Very close to Chicago deep dish. Very good and enjoyed it.
That said Chicago tavern style is still my favorite!
