USA Goes to War Against Iran

Time for a dedicated thread to the war.

How long will it last and what will be the probable outcome?

Do you find any women or men of any kind sexually arousing or is it all just like looking at a stack of dirty laundry?

You of course don't have to answer that, it's just a question. Personally, I kind of have a thing for redheads. I guess I won't' say which sex.

More like looking at a stack of carefully-folded clean laundry. πŸ˜€

I'll leave it at that.

This is the religious fanatic death cult and if it's between them being deposed or taking as many as they can down with them they're going to choose the latter, right? I mean that's the whole point of keeping nucs out of their hands because they're going to instantly send them to Israel? If that's the logic then I think they'll be willing to absorb a lot of pain to their populat

In November '24 I didn't think at the time I was voting for WWIII. Oh well.

Larjani dead. Major Basij meeting hit, numerous commanders killed. Reports of massive defections at every level (hopefully this is true, it might not be)

Ready to update your software yet Luckbox?

You do realize that everyone hates the IRGC and their terror apparatus. Everyone inside the country hates them, everyone in the region hates them. The only people cheering them on are dumb Westerners whose brains have been turned to mush by black pill social media and fake AI videos.

They are so hated, and there is such a long line of people in the country waiting to sell them out, that Israel intelligence knows where everyone is at all times pretty much. If you are an IRGC of any high rank, you are only alive because either Israel or the US wants you to be alive, or they just haven't found the opportunity to kill you yet with acceptable low collateral damage.

acceptable low collateral damage.

To the Israelis???

It just seems improbable that iran will be able to continue to export while they stop others. Eventually there will be retaliation and it might not be the us.

The idea that you think its a completely free global market and will remain so while your president is in a trade war with the entire world is rich

There already is, it just isn't kinetic (yet). IRGC officials around the world are being arrested. Former friendly nations are lambasting them. Israel is going to completely destroy Hezbollah, and there is no one even trying to stop them. Even Al Jazeera, which has always been extremely supportive of the IRGC, is criticizing them.

However this ends, the IRGC is basically going to be completely diplomatically isolated like NK, with the same couple friends. And apparently UK/Canada.

The GCC are being drawn closer to the US and Israel, even if they dont like it.

Pretty much the opposite of Luckbox fever dreams.

To the Israelis???

The collateral damage from Israeli strikes in Iran are actually much lower than in other theatres. Have you heard of a single mass casualty event from Israeli strikes? The only one we have even heard of is from an American strike on Day 1. Compare that to the other theatres (also taking into account a lot of the reports of Israel targeting civilians are gross exaggerations if not outright lies)

I am guessing the very low collateral damage from Israel strikes are do to some combination of:

1. Trying not to turn the people against them to have better relations with whoever is in charge when the IRGC eventually falls.
2. It isn't as necessary because better intelligence and the Iranian people aren't as willing to be human shields.
3. US giving them tighter bounds.

You have literally no idea who you are talking to.

Could you please give us an idea of who we are talking to? Thank you.

Sure!

I am a Socialist. If you want my thoughts listen to Kwame Ture or Fred Hampton.

At the same time I am a white suburban guy with a good job and privilege so I'm not in the streets protesting.

Do whatever with that!

Have you heard of a single mass casualty event from Israeli strikes?

yes. every day, all day. and in Lebanon they are systematically killing all the paramedics.

You really just don't get it. Nobody I know is cheering them on (well, except Victor). What we don't want is the US going around bombing everyone we don't get along with. And, I firmly believe that if we hadn't been sticking our noses in every other country's business for as long as I've been alive we wouldn't have such a mess in the middle east. This nonsense certainly isn't going to help in the long run. Not one bit. You now have an entire generation of Iranians hating us even more than they did before.

My wife and I were having dinner with the couple across the street Saturday night. He works for an engineering firm that is based in (I think Germany? Somewhere not here). Anyways, he has been with the company for decades and has traveled all over the world. He was talking about being in Bahrain several years ago and made the comment - "they hate us over there." I wonder why?

Speaking of sticking our nose in other country's business.... Looks like Trump thinks it's time to "take" Cuba. I'm sure that will end up well. Like the Kennedy center.

Lol I came to post a different headline saying the exact same thing.

I remember the dunyain's of the world saying "well, if we could just get rid of Arafat..."

They could have just skipped Iran and gone with Cuba. I imagine Cuba could have worked out.

What in the world are you guys talking about. Cuba is working out (for good or bad).

The regime just basically announced Perestroika due to pressure from the US. Trump has called for their president to resign. Do you think he won't? That the people will rise up to defend him?

You really seem to have created some alternate reality completely detached from the real world.

Cuba ain't got two sticks to rub together but they have a "regime".

Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

Crazy how so many people have said the same yet the Dunyain's of the world will try very hard to have you believe otherwise.

Shouldn't you be on Reddit with the rest of the bots Dunyain? Not sure it makes sense to work as hard as you are to try and change the minds of 10? maybe 11 people on this forum.

Trump turned his counterterrorism expert into an antiwar hippy that is stupefying.

In November '24 I didn't think at the time I was voting for WWIII. Oh well.

You knew you were voting for erratic, unprincipled decisionmaking. It seems like quibbling to complain that you didn't expect the erratic, unprincipled decisionmaking to take this exact form.

If you put a a group of monkeys in charge of a daycare center for toddlers, you may not be certain exactly what will happen. Maybe the monkeys will open the door and let the toddlers run out into the street. Maybe they will accidentally start a fire. Maybe they will just **** all over the daycare and let the kids run throught it. But one thing is certain. When you return to the daycare, you can be relatively certain that something bad will have happened.

Hard to know what to make of this guy. According to him, he supported the values that Trump campaigned on in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

Trump goes look, either lie about the sleeper cells or resign.

One of those values was no new wars
