In general, I am not a huge fan of people telling other posters who they should or should not respond to. Most people who interact with mongidig (including me) are just goofing on him for their own amusement. If a few idiots were derailing a lot of serious discussion here, then I would be more sympathetic to your point. I don't know if that was ever a fair description of what was going on the forum, but it certainly isn't a fair description now.

I don't think Luciom was arguing in bad faith on policy. I think he actually wanted a very dystopian, authoritarian government, or at least he thought he did.
There was some amount of trolling in Lucioms posts but mainly as exaggeration of things he did actually believe in, so he was pretty genuine.
