Started off in a bit of a rut but made it a point to not let it make my volume suffer. bei

huge chunk of the week invested here is kinda silly lol but i wanted to grind wsop so i guess play stupid games play stupid prizes
i max late regged so i had a lot of off time to study and sleep is the silverlining

fizzled out earlyish and then played a bunch online instead of firing wynn 3.5k
made gametime decision to fire online instead since gold is mid series and there was a couple bracelet events
had few promising runs but end up break oven on the session, bagged healthy for day 2 of gold 3.5k 😀
hopefully a more promising week coming up on the live front, eventually ill win some flips if i keep on gambling

pretty brutal to add another soft bubble elimination to the totals
kinda frustrating bust out
was spot where you have 3 things telling you to call and 1 thing telling you to fold
but the 1 thing is a live read and you can't discern it to be reliable enough to pull trigger on
so i went with logic and was wrong, the live read was def most important part of decision in hindsight. anyways, it was a bust out i could handle mentally, because i felt good ab how clear and willing to be ruthless i was in this state

grinded hard all day to hover .7-1.5x avg
pretty picture perfect run of cards on soft bubble
got it in with 30% pre, doubled up and then started making strong hands
sick day where you run hot and all your bluffs get thru
some funny spot came up in my head where i vpip 3 hands in a row on stone bubble and then get AA utg on hand 4, found that hilariously unfair and fun

had piles all day but didn’t get any bounties until later in the day. by then most the big ones were gone. got 3 bounties for 15k.

im on a 24 hour delay here and i couldn't update bc 2+2 server was broken

🟢 1st in 10k mystery bounty for $678,300 and 9 5k bounties
was starting to get deja vu from last summer but then this score came in to save the day after a pretty gnarly start. ran really hot and don't even feel a little guilty about it haha
i think so far, my fav emotion after winning is satisfaction. I've felt some other emotions that leave a bad taste in you. relief doesn't feel great, you wanna feel joy, but when you feel relief it means the downside was scary.
something i keep noticing on these deep runs....when i get to the end i keep on looking back and thinking.... man, early stage was so much fun. in prague i remember thinking that sparring and even just watching mokri operate courtside was a real joy. it was so much fun, and honestly, besides the money, i enjoyed that day of battling more than the final table. which made me feel weird bc that felt backwards af lol. and now i felt similarly about this run but with adrian. its not even like we had very many sick hands together, but i got to be on his left for all of day 1 and on his right for all of day 2, so i got dealt so many combos of mateos action it was a real treat to experience.
i saw this joao simao msg online like 1 yr ago. as soon as i read it, the words really stuck with me, and ive tried to embody the ethos of it. especially when you play on stream, having this reminder to visualize how you wanna show up is v nice. so ty joao for posting this.
ill reflect on this run a lot after this series, but for now i wanna stay locked in and finish strong. getting the bracelet is sick, but jobs not finished theres still a lot of poker left!
