Flopped nuts facing x/r from face-up reg-fish. 3B or flat call?
Shorter one, also from my most recent 1/3 session at Parx Friday night.
V1 (main V) - bad reg. White male. Late 50's-early 60's. Played with him a few times.
He VPIPs too wide, without much of a 3B range. Post-flop, he can be trappy or face-up. I've seen him slow-play a vulnerable made hand on a draw-heavy board and fast-play thin value on a scary-connected board.
His betting / raising range is too value-heavy. He'll chase his draws in spots where he shouldn't. He won't raise with a draw when an opponent bets. He's not check-raising as a bluff, ever. He won't stab much when action checks to him. He's capable of making disciplined check-folds with TP2K when opponents can have TPTK. I don't think he has many bet-folds or raise-folds for value, unless it's really obvious he's beat.
He's sitting three seats to my left, and somehow had a big stack when I sat down, over $650, which tells me he's run good in a good game, because I know he likes to buy in for $200-$300. He might be looking to lock up the win by playing a little tighter pre and more cautiously post.
Hero - solid reg, but apparently has a LAG image and a punchable face. White male. Early 50's. Over $900 in my stack.
I'd guess V thinks I'm too aggro, and as a result he likes to flat my pre-flop opens with some hands he could definitely 3B, and he's trappy / sticky vs me post. He may think I'll over-play thin value or spaz-bluff with SDV. I'm pretty sure he doesn't realize I'd never try to make him fold a strong hand by bluffing.
PRE - one limp from EP. Hero raises to $20 from the CO with KJo. V calls in the BB. EP limper calls, and we're three to the flop.
FLOP ($60) - AQTrb.
X, X. Hero $30. V to $125. The other guy folds, and it's back on hero.
My immediate gut reaction was that this is AQ or TT, with some slivers of AT/QT. This is never AA, QQ, or KJ.
I'm not sure if a 3B looks too nutted, and lets him get away from top 2P or bottom set. I'm also not sure what 3B sizing would make sense at this SPR, if we're hoping he'll call the rest off on the turn.
Hero?

Stopped reading after title and "His betting / raising range is too value-heavy." 3B, 100%
I'm using position to just call and hope the board doesn't pair. He has to bet nearly every turn and we raise that.
