Bitcoins - digital currency
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency. Peer-to-peer (P2P) means that there is no central authority to issue new money or keep track of transactions. Instead, these tasks are managed collectively by the nodes of the network. Advantages:
- Bitcoins can be sent easily through the Internet, without having to trust middlemen.
- Transactions are designed to be computationally prohibitive to reverse.
- Be safe from instability caused by fractional reserve banking and central banks. The limited inflation of the Bitcoin system’s money supply is distributed evenly (by CPU power) throughout the network, not monopolized by banks.
Total size 5,811,700 BTC
or 4,585,431 USD
or 3,545,137 EUR
or 133,094,323 RUB
or 3,849 ounces of gold
Any value to this idea or will it never work?

lmao. what a hill to die on.
nocoiners are blinded by spite for not buying x years ago and are incapable of objectively looking at the reality of the situation.
$350bn in new investor capital has come into Bitcoin this year. if you still think it’s going to zero in soon to be 2025 you have massive blind spots.
maybe p0 will learn his lesson this time around and buy the next bottom in late 2026. but given he is still posting articles like anybody gives a ****, i think not.

What's the true usage of bitcoin in our society? I can't buy anything with it - it's a speculative "currency" that doesn't have a physical backing nor usage in any sense.
It’s not currency, it’s property.

What’s the true usage of a treasury bond or a stock share ?
I can’t buy anything with it and has no usage in any sense .
Stocks, bonds, paper money are just existing to transfer monetary value right ?
Why you think Bitcoin is any different ?
Ok stocks represent a company under it .
Bonds represents government/corporations debt money payable to the holders .
Bitcoin represent a secure monetary p2p transfer through the internet all around the world .
Now you may think this p2p has no value and that’s fair .
But the market says otherwise for many reasons .
And don’t forget , p2p transfer on internet are so « valueless in your opinion », it brings to it’s knee , with the « help » of Napster and piratebay (that could be perceive like bitcoin ), the entire musical and movies industries ….
The difference ?
Well music and movies can’t be printed from thin air like money .
So it did hurt the economy and had to so something about those p2p medium of exchanges.
But bitcoin prices just go up has they print more money ….without endangering banks or government because again , they just can create money from thin air for ever while no one can with Bitcoin .
So Bitcoin price go up shrug.
Bitcoin go up because some part of the market says it’s valuable with its capacity to transfer money .
More people believes higher the price will get unless governments decides to stop printing money -> good luck with that ….

Not this crap again... just because you dont have the ability to get your mind out of the legacy financial gutter doesn't mean another reality isn't viable.
I bought these speakers using Bitcoin...
I had to walk the dealer thru the transaction but once everything was set up and transferred, the transaction was immediately settled.
Jfc , your neighbors must love u lol …

I think, without looking them up, I know what those are.
Also why not get perlistens if you're gonna spend a Escalade worth on speakers?
Bet they sound great tho.
Looks like we’ve found the Napster.
