FOMC is a 12 person committee. Chair certainly has a lot of influence but they don't pick policy rate singlehandedly.
Within the narrow range of a few reasonable options, the chair is going to get their way almost always. Do we know if they were ever overridden? If so, the chair would likely go along to keep up appearances, so we may never know.

Aren't they ~1/2 his appointees now? I think I heard that if he manages to get rid of Lisa Cook he'll have the majority of appointees, and that's why he's going so hard at her over nothing.

Trump's chaos is not good for the price, but they are actively trying to pass pro crypto legislation.
Dems have less chaos which makes markets more stable, but they are and have been trying to actively trying to curtail crypto.
Over time, if good regulations are passed, price will follow.
