I mean, Tal "hung" his knight against Botvinnik. This move increases his ACPL, which tells you just about how useful of a stat it is, imo.
Not really, as the move was only 0.4 less than the Stockfish "best" move. Averaged over the 47 move game its insignificant. In fact the whole game had a combined ACPL of 49 in spite of the blunders later.
