2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I rarely do 2-7-7-2, but I like this one.
Josh, Nix
Conner, Spears, Chase Brown, Jaleel, Allgeier, Vidal, Roschon
Chase, Deebo, Kupp, BTj, Keon, Gabe, Franklin
Kincaid, Goedert
QB) Goff, Watson, Baker
RB) Achane, Moss, Singletary, J Wright, Herbert
WR) ARSB, Aiyuk, Cooper, K Allen, JSN, Jeudy, Raymond
TE) Kittle, Bowers, Otton.

This is very nice.
I'd probably kick second TE down the road and go RB there.
Getting the top Josh stack is nice.
Don’t think you need Otten . Another rb where you take Otten takes this team over the top .
I got Otton rd 17 22 spots past ADP. I thought the correlation with Baker made more sense than taking a dart throw at RB. I took Baker because he fell 22 spots past ADP. I was hoping to grab J McMillan for Baker but got sniped. I love Kittle and Bowers but with Kittle being so up and down I don't mind adding a third TE. I would like to have a 6th RB but you sacrifice somewhere.

That’s a lot of draft capital used on te though .
I’ve been starting to go w only 7wrs on ud in spots where I go 4 straight WRs to start, which I think is right, but it feels kinda uncomfortable
Qb - AR, Bryce
Rb - Monty, Warren, C Brown, Lloyd, R Davis, Tracy
Wr - Chase, Aiyuk, Nabers, Kirk, Worthy, Downs, Thielen
Te - Bowers, Kmet, Woods
Did this one high so hopefully it’s not a mess
Qb : Daniels , Herbert , Nix
Rb: Aaron Jones , Swift , Brian Robinson jr , Chandler , Gibson , Estime
Wr: Jefferson, Davante Adams , Dj Moore , Kirk , Johnston , Bateman , Mims, Tolbert , Hyatt
Te: Kindcaid , Ferguson
Seems really good, only minor thing is I would’ve grabbed a wr when you grabbed ferguson and pushed 2nd te to later
I'm a sucker for locking up two top 12 TEs in the top 10 rounds for this draft cycle. I try to mix up the matches and aim to correlate, but it feels nice to grab two guys who can have a 10+ weekly projection and be done.
With that said, I don't typically go full bully with two through rounds 4-6. I like my first in rounds 4-6 and my second in rounds 8-10. No idea if it's correct, but it feels good to me.
I'm almost completely fading Schultz, Hock, Kmet, and Musgrave. Most of my shares are with their respective QB.
I agree that it’s generally fine, I just think it shouldn’t happen when the wr5 becomes QJ, it feels like that’s the easiest change in that draft would be to grab wr in 8 or 9 instead and then grab like musgrave as a bring back to Vikings stuff around 150 or something like that
Obv QJ is necessary for the Herbert stack, but would much rather him be wr6
Had the 9th pick.
QB - Allen, Jones
RB - Taylor, Zeke, Spears, Charb, Guerendo, Gainwell
WR - Wilson, Godwin, Mclaurin, Odunze, Samuel, Jeudy, Mooney, Mims, Slayton
TE - Kincaid, Jonnu, Theo
Fell a little bit further behind than I’m used to at WR, had 4 through 7 but it was 1, 3, 6,7
Qb - Allen, Nix
Rb - Gibbs, Swift, Pollard, Ekeler, B Allen
Wr - Wilson, Tee, Odunze, Keon, Palmer, Downs, Thielen, Mims, Claypool (gross haha)
Te - Kincaid, Musgrave

Looks solid, don’t love JT on dk, so I probably would’ve gone w someone else there, but it could work
Just realized the $3 on DK is a 20 max, and I'm almost there. So this might be my last one until pre season starts, and then I'll max that out and enter some more into the $20
Possible I may enter a $20 here and there before pre season.
QB - Murray, Watson
RB - Taylor, Swift, Pollard, Zeke, Keaton, Guerendo
WR - Puka, Zay, Higgins, Doubs, Jeudy, Downs, Michael Wilson, Mims, Dortch
TE - LaPorta, Jonnu, Higbee
$3 DK
LAMAR DARNOLD
ETIENNE JACOBS STEVENSON BROOKS CHANDLER BUCKY JUSTICE
JEFFERSON ADDISON DOTSON GABE CHARK HYATT DWALKER(BAL) RONDALE
ANDREWS BOWERS OTTON
It's going to be funny when the team that wins it all is one that punted receiver haha. But yeah, that WR room is rough. If you plan to draft 4 RBs in the top 10 rounds, you absolutely have to sacrifice QB/TE to stay on par at WR.
That team would look much better with 3 late QBs and 3 late TEs while heavily investing early in RB/WR.
Darnold as a second QB is also not good, as I think he's only starting weeks 15-17 if JJ is injured, even if Darnold is the w1 starter. Similar to how I think about Maye. Brissett may start w1, but Maye is way more likely to be starting when it matters the most for fantasy.
yeah I think you have to take 3 QBs if you're drafting a QB that is slated to start the season but could easily lose the starting job at any point
Darnold
Russ
Jacoby
Cousins (maybe)

I think it's possible to make something that looks okay. My first 10 rounds went RB-RB-WR-RB-WR-WR-WR-RB-WR-QB
QB - Tua, Dimes
RB - Bijan, Achane, Jacobs, Pollard, Guerendo
WR - Nabers, Terry, Godwin, Addison, Doubs, Palmer, Gabe, Wandle, Mims, Malik
TE - Jonnu, Woods, Gesicki
My top exposures on both sites. Am I too heavy on my top owned guys?
I’m all about going hard on the guys you like. My highest owned guy is at 57%
It’s all about risk tolerance. I focus more on spreading my exposures and building different combos, especially right now.
I’ll start hammering my targeted top exposures as we get closer to the season, but there is still so much that can happen between now and opening kickoff, whether that’s news or injuries.
The most I’m at of anyone right now is around 16%. Most of them are the rookie WRs in the 5th-7th, plus Ferguson and Muth.
