2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Last 2 drafts I was in he went late 2nd / early 3rd.
Finally got a Jeanty lineup
Mahomes, Penix, Geno
Jeanty, Pollard, Dobbins, Wright, Ekeler
London, MHJ, Worthy, Godwin, Hollywood, Gabe, Tucker, Malik, Nailor
Kelce, Pitts, Henry
Played it with Geno too. I mentioned previouslt I thought the Raiders drafting Jeanty at 6 was unlikely and bad. But after trading for Geno, I think those odds went way up. Probably would still be bad, but it sure would be fun.

Oh I totally forgot about that in the moment. I just knew I had to wait a bit after drafting Penix to get my QB3. I think the best late options that are okay to draft naked are Bryce, Stafford, and Geno since there are some stacking options. Geno was the only one left and I knew I would be able to get Tre Tucker near the end.
I like Dart late too, but he’s a volatile pick and no known stacking options.
I wish we knew who the TE will be for the Saints. It would help with Carr back stacks. I guess you can do him with Kendre.
Darnold and Fant now but meh.
This start is absolutely absurd. Trying to post a Tweet, but it’s not showing up for me. It was a start of Chase, AJB, Reek, Hurts, Devonta on DK.

I can see Tyler Warren going to the Saints.
Is Twitter back up? I heard it was down earlier. Yeah, that's a sick start.
Najee to LAC!
Well! I just entered a Little Board on UD just to get my feet wet but didn't realize it was a slow draft. I'll happily take Brian Thomas at 10 unless someone falls.
I guess I'll tell you how it went in a couple months or whenever these things get done.
Last season 3-6-8-3 was the nuts on DK, but early observation makes me think this is the year to go 9 WR. With so many people attacking RB early on there seems to be better value at WR in the end stages of a draft. At least for now.
I only own one dynasty team, so offseasons that go bad are particularly annoying. But my championship team so far:
Darnold to the Seahawks, which I'll judge after the NFL draft (get some oline?)
JJ on the Vikes is unblocked!
Adams to the Rams, which sucked until...
Kupp is going somewhere else! Rooting Cowboys/Chargers
Think my only remaining sweats are Maye getting one of everything (lol), and Dowdle
Who do you guys like as serviceable RB3-4-5 range? Going to have to go shop in that area to defend my ring
I probably wouldn’t be shopping for any RBs in that range until after the draft. It’s really tough to tell right now with this draft class looming.
What rookie picks do you have?

One of my goals this year is really mixing things up, because we don't know what we don't know. 3-6-8-3 is definitely my most common, but I've been doing a bunch of different ones. 3-7-7-3, 2-8-8-2, 3-6-7-4, 3-5-9-3, etc. It's a lot of fun. I might even have one or two with 10 WRs at 2-5-10-3 or 3-5-10-2. I almost always range 2-3 QBs, 5-7 RBs, 7-9 WRs, and 2-3 TEs.
I thought I could get JJ and AR at the 12/13 turn. Got sniped on JJ and then Geno, Trevor, Carr, Ward, Sanders, and Darnold all got picked after I drafted Bigsby.
Allen, AR, Dart
Saquon, Henderson, Skat, Bigsby, Allgeier
MHJ, Flowers, Addison, Shakir, Downs, Coleman, AD, Westbrook, Malik
Warren, Kmet, Taysom

Agree with this. And sometimes the way value falls to you dictates your position allocation. e.g. last year there were a few times I remember having Tee / Zay Flowers tier WRs fall to me in the 5th (ADP was round 4) after I already had 3 WRs, and that would typically have me capping my WR allocation at 7.
Team so far, and picking at 76
Lamar
Judkins
JJ, Reek, Flowers, Waddle
Should I have taken Hockenson or Aaron Jones?
Jones, but I’m not really into Hock, especially correlated with JJ. I think at least one of JJ or Addison will need to get injured for Hock to pay off his price. And even then, he seems kind of meh to me. He’s not very cheap.

Awesome. That's what I went with, and worked out perfectly because my next pick I had the choice of Andrews or Jonnu.
Lamar, Tua, AR
Judkins, Jones, Stevenson, Robinson Jr., White, Corum
JJ, Reek, Flowers, Waddle, Tre Harris, AD, Iosivas, Malik
Andrews, Strange, Arroyo
